I woke up and found Ryan taking the suitcases out of the house. Yesterday he had told me my bruises were almost gone and we were going to leave soon, but I never guessed this soon.

"Where are we going?" I asked rubbing my eyes and letting them adjust to the light.

"You'll soon find out," he said. "I left you clothes and shoes so you can shower and get ready. You have an hour," he said and left with the last suitcase. I looked at the clothes he left out and take it in the bathroom with me. I quickly shower not wanting to upset him. I slipped on the dress he picked out and put on the flats. I had to admit, he had great taste in clothes. The dress fell a bit above my knee and it was a creme lace dress that complimented my tan skin. I take a look in the mirror and notice my bruises were barely noticeable. No one would tell unless they really concentrated and focused on my face.

When I came out, Ryan was sitting on the bed and was on his phone. He turned to look at me and eyed me up and down. He didn't say anything, things were still a bit awkward since the day he told me I was better off with him. He stood up and took my face in his hand. He examined my bruises.

"Barely noticeable, but still noticeable," he said.

"I - have make up in my purse -I can cover it up," I suggested.

"Do that,"he said, and handed me my purse from a drawer. I headed to the mirror and applied make up. The make up completely hid the bruises, and I smiled, I looked like the old me. He gave me an approving look.

"Hurry up, you have 20 minutes left," he said and returned to his phone. I pull out a hair curler he had bought me and started curling my hair. My hair was wavy and had some curls, my hair could never decided whether to be wavy or curly so i decided it should be curly.

"Let's go," he said and barely gave me chance to disconnect the curler and grab my purse. He was already pulling me out of the house as if I couldn't walk on my own.

"Get in," he said while pushing me into the taxi cab. Sheesh, he was in a hurry. He got in with me and the taxi driver begins to drive.

I looked out the window to see where had I gone wrong in my attempt to escape the other day. It turns out I had to run straight then take a left. There wasn't an official road but a big enough opening for cars to pass. There was trees and trees for miles, it seemed to never end. We finally reach a real road and get out of the surrounding trees. I start seeing what looks like a desert but there were few house like a mile apart. This is why no one heard me. We finally reached civilization. We drove off for 2 hours and we finally reach an airport.

"Get out," he demands. Obviously I was he didn't have to tell me. I get off quickly before he pulled me out but he still does.

"Thank you," he says and pays the driver. He takes out the suitcases and I grab mine.

"You're going to behave right?" He asks. I quickly nod. He eyes me carefully.

"If anyone asks, I'm your boyfriend," he says. I look at him and my cheeks flush red.

"W-what? W-why?" I nervously ask.

"Because you belong to me remember? And we can't say we're married because we don't have rings." He simply says.

"Now come on, and you better not try anything stupid," he says and walks inside the airport. I was pretty sure if he wasn't dragging 2 suitcases, he would have dragged me in there with him. I practically had to sprint at times just to keep up with him. He was taller than me and his steps were bigger and quicker. I was about 5'7'' and he looked about 6' or 6'1''. We reach a desk and we wait in line.
