Chapter 4: Start of Everything

"Wow there is more technology around then in S.w.o.r.d. and S.h.i.e.l.d. combined," Carol said awestruck from my apartment. I mean of course my new home was going to be hook up with the newest and coolest tech.

"Welcome to your new home Nicole." Look there is my trusty AI.

"Hey Chloe. so when I'm home you are going to switch to apartment instead of my arc."

"It would seem better." True true.

"Oh new suit."

"Wanda don't just going nosing around. But yes, that is a new suit." I walked over by her and looked at it. "I am trying to make a suit that's like a second skin. It's been slightly difficult because I was originally wanting to use some vibranium but of course dad said no."

"Well it looks almost invisible. Why not use the camouflage thinks on one of Tony's other suits," Wanda suggested?

"Well that would just make it invisible and I would want someone to be able to see me not the suit. I even want someone to be able to touch me and not even tell that I am wearing it. Plus, I want to do this on my own without help. I am able to make the suit look normal with the red, gold, and blue colors but goal is still completely unnoticeable." I hit the button to close the case. "I hope I can finish it. For now, it does work as a functioning suit." I then sat down and grabbed the remote to turn on the TV. When I pressed the one button the news was on talking about the registration act. With that the TV was turned angrily off.

"Don't ask," Wanda said to Carol who looked like she was about to say something. She probably has no clue about the act that I know is pulling my family apart.

"So Carol how is your protégé," I asked Carol trying to get my mind off that act.

"Oh, Kamala, yeah she is doing great as a hero. Still has a lot to learn but so far so good." Carol actually looked really happy to talk about the new Ms. Marvel.

"Did you ever talk to Daisy about her being inhuman an all."

"No, haven't talked to Daisy in a while. I have been busy and pretty sure she is just as busy with all the new inhumans anyway." Daisy has probably the busiest life out of all of us. With her being a S.h.i.e.l.d. agent, gaining new powers, friends going evil, finding her family, and just so much more I don't think she even has time to sleep.

"Well she is trying to create an inhuman team and she may want to use Kamala." I looked at the clock and new I was going to be late for the first day of work.

"Yeah I heard that she is making a team but only has her and three other people with her." Wanda said reminding me that Lincoln is in that team. If you couldn't tell I don't quite like him. There is just something that bugs me about him. I don't really know what but if Daisy is happy with him I'm happy.

"Guys I have to get going to Stark Industries." I quickly got up and ran to get my fancier outfit.

"Wait, this is supposed to be are vacation," Wanda said really sadly.

"Not for me, I didn't even know you guys were coming with me till earlier today. I already had plans to go start work. So you guys can chill here and do what you want." With that I left out the door.

"Welcome to Chicago Ms. Stark," a guy said behind a desk as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. Not gonna lie pretty good looking. I have never actually been to the Stark Industries in Chicago but wow this place is really nice. I am also at the top of the building, that's where my office is, which means a pretty nice view and I am not talking about the sky line. Okay I am just joking I am talking about the skyline. This guy is pretty nice through.
