Save [Underfell AU/ Pacifist]

Chapter 3: Patience

After I said goodbye to Napstablook Flowey healed me and we continued to make our way through the Ruins. I seemed to fall down every hole possible, but I round a Ribbon so it wasn't a bad thing. Most of the walk Flowey was super silent.

I had got a lot of calls from Toriel asking where I was and if I was allergic to anything, which I didn't answer. She seemed like she didn't want to hurt me, but she wanted me for something. Since she hasn't attacked me I'm assuming it's at her house.

I looked at the monster counter at the save star and it said there were only ten monsters in the Ruins. "But... that means... half of the monsters are dead!" I exclaimed in sheer horror. "She had to have something to entertain herself." Flowey said sullenly.

Suddenly, I wondered if I could save Toriel. I quickly pushed that thought out if my mind. "I will save her." This thought filled me with determination and pushed me to continue through the Ruins.

The battles really slowed down I only had a few until I found the Toy Knife. I just put it in my Inventory and continued to the wilted tree in front of Toriel's house. "Flowey hide again. She's going to meet me here. I'm worried what she'll do to you if she finds you were with me." As soon as I said hide I felt him slither across my arm and into my shirt.

The second I stepped out of the doorway Toriel was walking past the tree. She was probably about to call me but she stopped when she saw me. "I didn't think you'd be able to make it here. So I came to get to but looks like you're stronger than I thought my child." She said with mixed emotion.

"I guess I'm a tough cookie," I shrugged. Toriel led me back to her house. I attempted to hold her hand and she flashed me a look of annoyance. "Quit it." She said sternly as we walked into her house.

She quickly led me through the right hall to a room which I knew was mine. She opened the door and gave me a fake smile. "This your room. I hope you... Like it." She said sweetly.

I looked at the room. There were clothes everywhere and it stank. I did my best to fake like the room. "Its wonderful. I love it." I looked at Toriel and she seemed a bit distant, as if she were thinking of an old memory.

"Whatever, if you're hungry come with me to the kitchen." She sighed, regaining her attitude. She quickly walked out of the room. "Frisk! We need to get out of here! I'm scared." Flowey said quietly trembling.

"Don't worry buddy. I'm working on getting us out. Just think of this as another Pacifist run." The minute I said Pacifist and the memory of me killing Toriel appeared in my mind.

My heartbeat sped up remembering the Genocide run. A tear rolled down my face. "What if I can't do a Pacifist run. What if I have to kill Toriel?" I quickly pushed that thought to the back of my mind. I then followed Toriel into the kitchen and as I Walked in I had second thoughts and I was about to go back to my room and sleep but Toriel told me to sit.

I quickly went to the chair and sat down. "What are you doing?" Flowey whispered. "I'm following directions." I whispered back. "What if she tries to hurt you?" He asked quietly. "I don't think she will. I think there's something else she wants from me." I replied.

Before Flowey could say something else Toriel brought me a Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie that was burt on the top. "I haven't made this in a while, Try it." She told me and sat it down on the table along with a spoon. "What if she poisoned it?" Flowey whisper shouted at me. I couldn't say anything back to him since Toriel was staring right at me.

I hesitantly picked up the spoon and took off a piece of the pie and starred at the spoonful. IT was partially burned but besides that it seemed just fine. I hesitantly eat the pie, the burnt part was tasteless but other than that it tasted good.
