"There is no way you can finish that." Blake says confidently.
At the moment, Alec, Austin, Blake and I were at Joe' Ice Cream Parlour and Blake has challenged me to eat an entire ice-cream sundae.
For some reason people believe that thin girls don't eat or have some sort of eating disorder. I can proudly say that I have no such problem. I eat as much as I want, whenever I want and the best part is I don't care if I gain weight.
What Blake doesn't know is that I come here every other weekend for their amazing ice-cream sundaes. I'm even on first name basis with half the staff that works here, so I gladly take Blake up on his challenge.
"Wade, can I get my usual please?" I ask one of the waiters.
From the corner of my eye I can see the three boys looking at me weirdly but I ignore them. Maybe I should explain what happened after the party. After I decided to stay, two things happened. First Alec dumped Stacey and second he along with his two best friends took me to for ice-cream.
My small trip down memory lane comes to end as soon as the smell of chocolate enters my nostrils. Wade places the treat right in front of me but before I can start I need to warn them about certain things.
"Before I begin there are certain things I shall warn you about. Firstly I get extremely hyper active after I eat a sundae. Secondly I would need constant supervision as things can get a bit out of hand. I think that's it. So do you still want to go forward with this?" I ask with the most serious voice I can muster up.
The guys look at each other, amused. But they wouldn't be amused afterwards.
"When she said hyper I expected jumping around, not this!" Blake sighed.
I was actually at the park hiding from the three. Somehow I had managed to convince them to take me to the park. And by convincing I mean whining till the time they agreed.
The sugar rush makes me behave like a child. There might be some psychological reason behind it but I don't really want to get into it. I love being like this, free and not worries about what's going to happen next.
I hear some leaves crunching and I start running. That might have not been a good idea because as soon as I do that I hear footsteps behind me.
"Ahh!" I scream as someone catches me.
"Got you." A deep voice says with a soft chuckle. I turn around to see Alec, his hands around my waist.
For a moment, everything stopped. Time froze. It was just Alec and I. All I could do was stare at his soft blue eyes. They held me captive and I couldn't look away.
A noise broke us apart. Looking around I saw Blake on the ground and Austin laughing. Turns out, Blake thought he could jump off the slide and catch me but he fell face forward on the ground with a loud thud.
"Are you alright?" I say while trying my best not to break into laughter.
"Yeah I'm fine just a few bruises." He said before his eyes went wide.
"You're not giggling anymore nor are you running around." He said somewhat sad.
"I think the sugar rush wore off." I said quietly not telling them the real reason.
"That's too bad. You're hilarious when you're high on sugar. I think we should do this more often." Austin said amused.
I looked at Alec to find him staring back at me. He smiled and shook his head at his best friend's silliness.
"I think we've done our job at cheering you up, haven't we Alec?" Blake asked slightly amused.
Looking right at me he said, "Yeah you have."
