Linda watched as he walked off into the darkness. She had a strange feeling, that the speech was somehow meant for her. Was it the way he looked at her during his speech, or was it just her? Linda's mind went around in swirls.

Gary was praised relentlessly by all of his friends, each giving him confidence for the possible upcoming rounds. Time seemed to stop, when he caught a glimpse of the person he held close to his heart, his friends felt fear as her ominous presence carried itself over. There she was, the most feared teacher in the whole district, Ms Hammer!

Linda, watching from a distance, felt jealousy, as Ms Hammer gave Gary a very formal handshake. She wanted to be the one giving him a handshake, as the thought crossed her mind, her cheeks reddened and her heart ached; she knew that her imagination would never become reality. Heck, Even Ms Hammer had a higher chance of being Gary's girlfriend than she did. Now there's a scary thought!
