Linda was going to have to make a choice. She didn't want to stay trapped in this jail of heartbreak any longer. Linda sighed, she had held on for long enough, and decided to let Gary go. It just wasn't worth it, especially since he liked Ms Hammer. A shiver went down her spine, 'Its time to move on.'.

She kept those thoughts in her head as she wrote the story for the competition. These ideas gave her inspiration, the emotions, to write the book. But, all things come at a price. The story completed, she knelt down and cried. Tears ran down her cheeks, splashing onto the carpet below. It just wasn't fair, what did Gary see in that fat, old hag anyway? She allowed herself to release those emotions she had hidden long since. Curling into a ball, she felt sorrow, sadness, betrayal, what could have been. She picked herself up, and wiped away her tears.

Gary stood at her door, listening to her talk, Did she really feel that way? Gary, sensing the sudden silence, entered her room.

"Hey Linda."

Sadness, anger and confusion entered Linda's voice

"Gary, Glad to see that you're here. I have completed the story, i expect you have completed the cover?"

"Uhh...Yeah? Well, sort of."

Gary held up a Blank sheet of A4 paper.

Linda sighed,

"i guess i should have expected less from you."

"Err...Linda?"

"Yes?"

"I need your help."
