Danielle's POV
"Xavier, I don't understand at all. Why would Vincent spend so much effort when he would just dump all of this..." I shook my head at him then walked towards the table that has candles and flowers on it.
"Actually, this is for..." He spoke and I turned around to see him walking slowly towards me with a big beautiful bouquet of pink roses in his hand. He's so handsomely, and gorgeously sexy.
He gave me the flowers before leaning down to my ear and then whispered. "You."
"Me?" I asked and looked down to the pink roses. They are absolutely beautiful.
(Pic of the bouquet is shown above)
"Vincent is not the only one who's capable of love." He grinned and my eyes flew wide open.
"Xavier, stop joking around, it's not funny." I rolled my eyes and chuckled nervously.
"I never joke on things, especially not this." Xavier shook his head and held my hands. My heart suddenly hammered so fast, I hope he couldn't hear the effects he has on me.
I looked back at the flowers and my lips formed a smile. "My sources told me that you love pink roses." Xavier told me and then I chortled back. "Charlotte."
"Baby, I have been thinking about this for some time now and I have decided to stop being a pussy and say it straight to you." He said smiling and I gazed at him in wonder. I put the roses down on the table before looking back at him.
"You're a pretty, smart, and kind-hearted girl...not to mention, hot." He snickered and that made me blush even more.
"I don't know what more there is to complain because everything in you is all I ever wanted. Even Vincent knew about this. He kept on bugging me to confess already before someone else steal you from me." He chuckled and shook his head before continuing. " I like you, Danielle, for quite a while already. Can I have the honor to have you as my girlfriend?" He said so dashingly.
My eyes widened and I felt very emotional but I won't cry, it's not like he's proposing or something. But now, I felt like the happiest girl alive!
"Yes, do you even have to ask?" I yelped excitingly and he chuckled.
He lifted me off the ground and spin around. His face came down and his lips pressed on mine. The kiss was slow and passionate, just what I wanted. He is everything that I ever also wanted.
"Do you know how long I have waited for this?" He whispered and I just hummed in reply. "Wait, there's few things I need to tell you." I glanced at him confusingly, waiting for him to continue.
He took a breathe in before speaking. "I won't promise you a perfect relationship, and I won't promise that we won't be encountering any problems, but I can promise you that you will never be alone." The way he looked at me is the same way my dad used to look at my mom. I didn't know that I cried until Xavier wiped away my tears with his thumb. "That's all I needed to hear." I whispered back.
I jumped in to his arms and wrapped my hands around his neck. I pulled him in for an another kiss, this time I'm the one who is dominating the kiss.
After a while, I pulled away to catch some air. I am embarrassed of my action, so I looked away. His head cock sideways to get a better look of me and snickered. "Baby, let's eat. I didn't plan this night for nothing." He pulled out a chair and I gracefully sat down.
He opened the glass cloches and revealed different kinds of food. We started eating and talking. "So Charlotte and Vincent knew all about this?" I asked and he laughed. "Yup, and Charlotte was indeed a big help."
I shook my head and giggled. "No wonder she doesn't look bothered at all tonight." I need to thank her big time later, this is by-far the best night ever.
