"Y-your m-my what?" I asked scared out of fear.
"I'm your father Anasie I've been watching and look trying to find the right time to tell you and Royal." He said wiping the tears that came down his face.
"Why all of sudden?" I asked still confused.
"Because I have a wife and one other kid her name is Brianna." He spoke proudly.
"Where have y'all been living?" I asked.
"At first we where living like close to you but then we moved to North Carolina. But I'm moving Brianna up here cause she gets in a lot of trouble and I can't continue to take care of her plus I'm dying."
Those words hurt to hear that my father was dying and he's been married and taking care of another child my 18 years of living the fuck type of shit is that suppose to mean.
I know Royal is going to be pissed when he finds out. I just don't understand what my dad wants from me.
"Where's your wife?" I asked trying to see where he was getting at.
"She um uh s-she's on drugs real bad like your mother and I'm dying because I have lung cancer." He said coughing really hard.
"So what you want me do?" I asked coming off kind of blunt.
"Well first give me a hug second call Royal so I can see him and third I'm asking that you please take care of Brianna for me I'm giving you custody because you turn 18 this weekend." He told me truthfully.
"So you want me to take care of her how old is she? I asked wondering.
"She's 13 she will be 14 in July."he said hugging me.
"Okay I'll do it but only if you promise me you will be around and help pay for stuff until you know die." I said to him not really trying to sound rude.
"Okay deal here's 200 dollars to get you started I'll give you 200 dollars every other week okay?" He said handing me the money and I agreed.
"So give me a hug and your number and I'll text you when I'm bringing her and all her stuff do you have somewhere your staying?" He asked and I forgot I live with Aidden and Samir kind of but I been house hunting in ATL and I found some stuff out there.
"Um well I'm living with a friend right now but I been house hunting this is the house I picked out."
