Waking up from my sleep I heard a loud noise like someone fell.
I got up from the bed carefully making sure I didn't wake Samira.

I opened the door and started walking down the stairs carefully.
I looked around a corner and seen PJ sitting on the floor trying to pick up the pieces of glass from the bowl that he dropped.

"PJ I got it." I said walking towards him

"Okay thank you June."

"Welcome buddy." I said fixing him another bowl of cereal.

I gave it to him as he sat at the island eating his food.
He would often get up in the middle of the night like this and eat cereal.

"Bad dream again?" I asked him as he nodded his head.

"What happen?"

"I had a dream that Anasie and you had another child and he was a boy and then you guys got married but then Y'all died cause y'all got shot."

"Aw man it's okay I'm still here okay I know Anasie not here right now but she always going to be in your heart alright?"

"I know it just makes me upset."
"I understand make sure you talk to me about ANYTHING I'm here, all ears aight."

"Yeah dad- I mean June, I meant June sorry."

"It's okay if you wanna call me dad."

"I know it's just everytime I get attached to someone they leave me." He croaked then started crying.

"Aw come here man." I said as he walked towards me hugging me as I sat on the floor and he sat next to me.

"I just want a family."

"I know man I know."

"Can you Atleast start dating again?"

"I can try for you man I can try for you."

"Good I don't want Samira growing up with no mom like I did." He said to me.

Sometimes when I talked to PJ it didn't seem like he was ten.

"Jamar stop please." I said as he sent blows to my head and I laid in a fetal position.

"Well then get my ducking daughter back."

"I can't!" I screamed to him.

"Why the fuck not!" He yelled kicking me

"Because June doesn't have her anymore."

"Why not?" He stop hitting me stood still.

Then a lump formed in my throat.
"Um we'll see June have her away."
