Skimming through this magazine trying to find a job while still in this hell hole.

"They hiring at this auto repair place." This lady name Robyn said from behind me.

"Oh thank you I'll check that out."

"You welcome you new here?" She asked trying to start a convo.

"Nah I been here for some months. I tried to kill myself." I said looking at her so she would leave me alone.

"Yeah I'm on drugs really bad my daughter she didn't want anything to do with me." She said confusing me.

As I thought about she looked familiar but I couldn't put my finer on it.

"Oh okay what she look like?" I asked.

"She brown skin really pretty, this brown eyes, along with some more shit." She said shrugging.

Then I knew it was Anasie.

"Oh okay well I'll see you around." I said walking away to make my phone call of the day.

I decided to call Samir and see what's up.
He answered on the third ring.

"Hello?" I heard Anasie answer the phone.

Then I forgot only Samir knew I was in here besides family.

"Hey uh ,it's um , Nate is Samir there?" I asked kind of nervous.

"Yeah he's right here hold on." I guess she went to go get him.

"Samir! Nate calling you!" She yelled.

I heard shuffling.

"Hey Bruh wassup?" He asked.

"Has Anasie mother checked into a clinic ?" I asked.

"She might have I don't know why?" He asked I could hear him moving around.

"She is in here I think" but I don't know I think she crazy." I said.

"Alright Ima check on that but how you doing bro?" He asked.

"Good good how about yo-"
I was cut off .

"You have 2 mins left." The thing on the phone said.

"Damn bro be safe alright and we gunna get you out okay I promise we will." He said I could hear his voice cracking.

"I love you cousin." Was all I said before the line went dead.

Ever since I left the club lastnight with Samir.
No text, no call, nothing from Javon.
I went to go get Brianna from her friends house lastnight on our way back.
I know that was wrong but still I love Samir even though he doesn't know it I do I don't know if it's love or lust but I think it's love.
I was laying down watching tv.
Til my phone buzzed I indicating I had a call.
I looked at the number and didn't recognize it but I answered anyways.
