When we got back home, Chloe walked through the front door first. She walked past the trash can and noticed the crumbled up note I threw away earlier. She reached in and opened up the wrinkled paper and read the words out loud. "What is this about? We didn't order anything. So why are they saying they missed us?" Chloe said in confusion. "It's just kids playing a joke." I said trying to calm her down.

We decided to just stay in for the rest of the night. We watched TV then a movie together. We continued this until about 11:00 at night. But then there was a loud sequence of knocks at the door. It made Chloe and I jump. I gave Chloe a look and she said "Check the door and I'll check the back." I walk to the front door and turn on the outside light and look out the door window. Like last night. No one is there.

I open the door and there is a large box sitting at my feet. It has a note tapped to it. It has the same handwriting like on the last note. It says: "here's a welcome gift from us to you. Enjoy." I look at the box and take a breath. I remove each flap of the lid to reveal more of what is inside. I can't believe my eyes. I fall backwards and scream for Chloe. "CHLOE!!!" I yell repeatedly. She ran to me and I have no words. All I do is point at the box.

Chloe slowly walked to the box and covered her mouth in horror and shock. I look again to see if I'm not wrong. It's Samuel's head. The expression frozen on his face. It's haunting. I shut the door and locked it with great speed. I say to Chloe, "check all the doors and windows! Make sure they're all locked!" I ran to the living room and picked up the phone to dial 911. I hit the call button and hear nothing but my worst nightmare. "We're sorry. Your call cannot be completed." I realized that whoever is out there. They cut off our connection to the outside.
