Calix and Blithe have always been best friends, until Calix's last year of high school. When he became a senior, he instantly realized that he had fallen for her like she had for him the first day he met him. Everyone knows them as a cute happy couple, the ones who were always meant for each other. The ones that should never fall apart.
Calix awakes inside of an institution, unsure of what happened. All he knows is that he wants his best friend and lover.
What he doesn't know, is that they were in a car accident. The day after she gave him her virginity, to show that she true to him. The day after he had gotten in bed with another girl. The day after he realized that he didn't want her anymore.The day he smashed her heart into a million pieces, by telling her that he had cheated on her. The day she told him never to talk to her again. The day they officially broke up. The day she told him that she'd rather die than 'be friends'.
The day that she had died, she died listening to her lover tell her he never loved her.
As Calix slowly gets his memory back, he tries to figure out who he had slept with. He tries to go to school and pretend that his whole senior year never happened. He tries to pretend that he and Blithe never met, and that nothing had happened between them.
What he doesn't know, is that Blithe is watching over him. Listening to every lie that he tells himself, and every lie that his supposed friends tell him. Watching how he acts without her, how lost he looks once more. Feeling his pain, as he goes through the motion of the boy he once was.
