We were walking and talking when someone shoves me into a locker. I look into the eyes of my... Ex boyfriend. Shawn was an abusive jerk who I dated for 3 years even though I didn't want to. The weight of the boy was pulled of me by Chase throwing him into a locker. Chase was just about to connect his fist with Shawn's face when I stepped between the boys and pushed Chase away.
"You ever touch her again I will rip your face off and make you eat it!",Chase yells as we walk away. He quickly pulls me into a hug and rubs my back while comforting me. I could get use to the feeling of being in his arms.
"Kayla are you okay? Did he hurt you? Do I have to kill him?",he asks while pulling me away from his chest.
"Chase I'm fine. Don't worry about Shawn he is nothing important. Let's get to class before we are late okay?", I say while leading Chase down the hallway to class. We make it to class right before the bell rings. We quickly take or seats and listen to the announcements. Shawn then walks into class and takes a seat beside me. Chase quickly tenses before I put my hand on his hands. We went along the day as we did any other day before. The last bell rang and I quickly walked to my locker, I was then pinned against the locker by a big body. I look up and find Shawn staring down at me while licking his lips.
"Hey babe long time no see."
"Shawn get off of me. We broke up a year ago leave me alone!" I yell why trying to push him off of me. Shawn used to hit me if I talked to him like that.
"Babe I miss you. I can't wait to be inside you.", he says while running his hand up my thigh and almost into my skirt. I spit on his face and before I knew it he slapped me as hard as he could across my cheek. He was then pulled off me by Chase. Chase punched him in the face and shoved him to the ground before kicking him in his side and walking away. I quickly walked to my car with tears brimming in my eyes. I open my car door and started my car. Tears start to spill my eyes when Chase quickly open my car door and pulled me into a hug. I cried onto his shoulder before he puts me in the passenger side and he gets in Te driver side. He backs Te car out the parking lot and we drive down the street.
"Where are we going? What about your sister?" I ask while Chase drives.
"She went to her boyfriend's and it's a surprise", we then pulled into an ice cream parlor. My face lights up and Chase laughs at me. We get out the car and he gives me a piggy back ride to the door. We then found a booth and sat their. Our waitress came over and flirted with Chase the entire time before taking out orders. She walks away and we both make a gagging face and laugh.
"Hey there is a party tonight u abated to know if you wanted to go with me?",he asks with hope in his eyes.
"Sure pick me up at about 8?" I say smiling. We finished our ice cream and I dropped him off at the house before going home. I decide to take a 2 hour nap and start getting ready at 6.
