training

here is new chapter! yea! please enjoy and comment, possibly follow so i don't feel like i am wasting my life :)

I woke up to the smell of food filling the hall. I guess everything was a dream and mom was making breakfast. wait... mom never makes breakfast. I opened my eyes to see a blank wall. It wasn't a dream. When i rose and sat up in bed i saw the room that Luke left me in. I really thought it was a dream. I have many crazy dreams. that's just weird ol' me.

i lifted my feet out and ripped off the covers, and was greeted by a cold breeze that made me want to crawl back in bed. However i continued to walk to my new bedroom door. when it opened the smell was stronger. I'm not sure where to go. So i decided to go to the kitchen/lobby that i was in yesterday.

Once the automatic doors open i saw the boys surrounding a McDonald's bag.

"hey Kayla i went and got us breakfast!" Zack said as he took out something that was wrapped.

"ew no! I hate McDonald's it's not even real meat!" I despise McDonald's always have, always will.

"come on, we got ya hash browns, we know how much you like potatoes." Zayn said, his hair was still messy and he looked adorable because he looked like a kid.

"nah, i'm good." I suppose since it is my house too i can eat any food here. I walked to the fridge to see bacon, some fruit, cheese, and biscuits. I wasn't that hungry. So I grabbed the carrots that were stashed in one of the fridge's drawers.

The boys were sitting on the couch watching TV. I was still confused. What am i doing here? When do i go back home? What can i do? And when do i do it?

Instead of asking the boys, who were enjoying their "food", i just sat with them and would just go with the flow.

After the boys were done they sat up.

"come on" Zayn was looking at me expectantly. I rose to my feet and the boys continued to walk. Naturally i followed. Each boy went to their rooms, and i continued to follow Zack. He stopped at the bedroom door that was on the opposite of the hall of mine and a bit before mine too.

"get dress in something comfortable" He gave me a smile and walked into his room. Leaving me there. I walked to my room and observed its emptiness. I didn't have any clothes but my pj's i was wearing now. My room doesn't even have a closet. Just a dresser. I peeked my head back out my door to see Luke walk out in a t-shirt and some basketball shorts.

"Luke!" he turned around and faced me. I walked towards him.

"what are we doing, and by the way i have no clothes dumb ass!" i stood in front of him, hoping to get an answer. Cause here in the "immortal realm that's just not possible.

"we are going to train in the indoor simulator, So that will have to do cause you are the main target today."

"not sure how to feel about that." what the hell is an indoor simulator? whatever it is i am "training" in it. I followed Luke back to the elevator and down two floors. When we walked into the hall i noticed four doors and a staircase, and a few windows at the ends of the hall. Luke walked to the second door on the left. It looks like some type of control room. we are elevated above an empty room that was completely made of metal. In the room we are in there is a counter with buttons and switches. The door we walked through was opened and i turned to see zack and zayn.

"what is this?" this room was really strange and kinda creepy.

"it's a simulator, you know what that is don't you?" Luke asked in a smart ass tone.

"yes! But this place is just weird." Gotta admit i am kinda pissed. No one gives me answers but i am expected to know everything.

"well go on" i looked over to Zack who had open a door that led to a small stair well that led into the room below us. I looked back at Zayn and Luke who were waiting on me to go in. So i walked to the door where Zack waited. I walked down the stairs and heard the door shut behind me. the room was not so big. Maybe the size of a small bedroom. I looked up and saw the room i was just in was 5-6 feet above, looking over me.

"now what?" this is some sort of simulator so it should like simulate something.

"we'll start on a low level." someone spoke into a microphone. I couldn't see the boys but i knew it was Zack.

"put it on level 3" i heard his brother zayn say behind him. Out of no where i heard a crash behind me. I turned and the walls of the room disappeared. I could no longer see the room the boys were in. Tall trees were everywhere. It was some kind of forest and it was very peaceful. Then another crash, i saw that in the distance, the crashing was coming from trees falling.

"guys?" i yelled, hoping the boys could still hear me or something.

"go towards it." Luke  encouraged... i did what he said and started to walk. Which is strange cause the room is very small, but yet it seemed to never end. I should be running into the room's walls. I noticed nothing was happening. So i stopped walking. The second i did i heard a cracking noise beside me. I turned to see a tall tree falling towards me.

I jumped out of the way. What i saw behind the tree was terrifying. there was a large bear like creature. Only this bear was about twice the size of a normal bear. It's teeth were razor sharp. It's fur was more black than the darkest point at night. I stood to my feet and stepped an instinctive step back. The bear let out a growl that could cause an earthquake. I did the only thing that i could think of. i ran! The forest was so thick. Tree after tree cause me to slow down and dodge them. I stopped to turn and face the beast. When i looked into its eyes i felt strange like i knew what to do. It launched at me and i felt the heat of the sun on my skin. I focused all of my energy to my fist. Letting the heat from my body flow, and punched at the bear right before  it reached me. only my fist never collided with the bear. Fire came from my fist and the bear flew back from the impact. I looked at my hand. It wasn't burnt. The strange feeling of confusion but at the same time power, came over me. It wasn't long till the bear was back up and i took my stance once more. I couldn't think of anything else to do but i did know how to do something now. i ran towards the bear coming towards me. i jumped to the air and swung my foot around letting the energy in my body flow to it. Once again fire was released from my body but yet i felt nothing. Unlike the monster, that i heard let out a cry. However it didn't seem hurt physically as much as it did emotionally.As if its feelings were hurt it walked away and the trees around me faded. I was back in the simulator room. the technology here was incredible, and way more advanced than anything i have ever seen.

At first i thought that the fire coming from my body was part of this simulation, but the walls had burn marks on them.

The sound of clapping came from the speakers in the room. I heard the boys saying things like "GO KAYLA", and cheering for me. I look to the door to see Zack smiling at me and i ran to him.

"way to go, see you are useful." he said as i walked passed him and up the small stairs. Luke and Zayn were smiling at me too. 

"awesome so who's next?" Luke asked. A loud alarm went off.

"it will have to wait" Zack said behind me.

The boys hurried out of the room and i followed. We got back to the living room/ kitchen. Luke ran to the window, zayn ran to grab something off the coffee table, and Zack ran to a monitor on the right side of the room.

"it's the science lab!" Zack yelled and looked at the boys. Zayn walked up to me and handed me what looked like a razor cell phone.

"Hold on to this, it will be your way of communicating since your cellphone is back home" he said as he placed it in my hand.

"ok." i said confused. the serious tone is catching me off guard. Luke walked up to us.

"The science lab is getting robbed, it's probably x, he's been attacking there recently." Then Luke turned to me. "he has never been caught, and he is highly dangerous, and his intentions are not known so he is very unpredictable." 

"ummm, ok" i answered, i guess there is a robbery and it is "our" job to stop it. Bitch please this is not my job.

We ran out the door of the living room and ran to the elevator. Zack pressed a red button and we ended up in a room with a car, and boats. It looked like a garage. We all hopped into the car.

" wait, how are we gonna get off the island in a car?" 

"There's a private bridge for us on the east side of the island." Zayn, who was in the drivers seat answered. Zack was in the passengers side and Luke and i were in the back. We rushed out of the garage. We raced over the bridge at the far east side of the island. I am surprised i didn't noticed it before when i got here, but yet again it was night time then.
