THE NEXT DAY
Lexi's POV
Last night was amazing and I had fun too. Jade and Taylor went to Quincy's hotel room because Prince and Spin were there,apparently for their own after party which sounded kinda boring to me,considering that partying at the club was just enough for me.
I was alone in my room. I wanted to call Nolen so he could come over but then I remembered that he was gonna come and tell me something. Sounds pointless but...🙄🤔
I ended up calling Diggy since he was the only person available. We spent the rest of the night watching movies and just goofing around until we got tired. I slept in my bedroom and he slept in Jade's
9:45 AM
I was sitting at the kitchen table and texting Nolen when Diggy walked in and sat across from me...
Diggy: Morning Lexi.
Lexi: *still looking at her phone and smiling* Hey Digg
Diggy: Who's got you smiling?
Lexi: Nolen. He's coming over in the afternoon.
Diggy: *scratches the back of his head* Oh,so you guys are...together?
Lexi: Not really. We didn't make it official yet
Diggy: Oh... *looks away*
Lexi: What's wrong?
Diggy: Nothing,just thinking *stands up* I'm gonna go shower
Lexi: Ok
That moment felt so awkward. Especially when Nolen was mentioned. I kinda felt bad talking about it to Diggy, because he seems to like me and I'm with Nolen.
Don't get me wrong,if I wasn't dating Nolen I would totally see me and Diggy as a couple,but the thing is,if we did date,the media would find out and they would probably think I'm some groupie he met on tour or something.
About half an hour later I heard the shower turn off. There was a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw Nolen standing there so I let him in...
Lexi: *hugs him* Hey Nolen
Nolen: *hugs back* Hey babe.How you been?
Lexi: Great. You came early,you didn't have to
Nolen: Yeah, I just felt like coming now,I wanted to see you sooner *smiles*
Lexi: *fake smiles* But you still didn't have to come now,I me--
Nolen: *laughs* You sound so defensive, it's not like you hiding anything right?
Lexi: Uhm right.
As we were taking I noticed how Nolen kept looking around
Lexi: Nolen,are you ok?
Nolen: This place smells like cologne,is that you?
Lexi: *laughs* No,no it's not. Diggy spent the night here
Nolen: *folds his arms* What the hell was that nigga doing here when he got his own room?!
Lexi: Nothing,we just hung out and stuff,but before you start assuming things,it's not what you thi--
Diggy: *walks out of the bathroom* Lexi do you know where the-- *stops and sees Nolen there*
Nolen: *staring at Lexi angrily*
Diggy was shirtless and only in his black jeans and sneakers. He held his T-shirt in his hand...
Nolen: Really Lexi?!!
Lexi: No,Nolen it's not like that!!!
Diggy: Is everything ok?
Nolen: *looks at Diggy* You tell me, 'cause you got some explaining to do
Lexi: *sighs* Nolen you got it all wrong, nothing happened he just--
Nolen: YOU THINK I'M STUPID Lexi?!!! I KNOW YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME
Diggy: Aye man,chill out,it ain't even like that! I just took a damn shower 'cause I'm bout to leave
Lexi: Yeah,Nolen this is all a misunderstanding!
Nolen: Fine,whatever you say,and I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend,but...*walks to the door*
Lexi: What?! Nolen please don't lea--
Nolen: *slams the door*
I just stood there dumbfounded,trying to put together what he just said. He's acting like we were a thing but we're not. I'm not even "cheating". I turned around and Diggy put his shirt on. I was trying to hide my smile that crept on my face,I mean come on!! Diggy does look good without a shirt on,just saying...
Lexi: Sorry about what happened
Diggy: Nah,it's cool. Are you busy later?
Lexi: Nope. We can hang out though
Diggy: *smiles* Sure. How about I take you out?
Lexi: *smirks* Is Diggy Simmons asking me out on a date?
Diggy: If you wanna call it a date then,yeah
Lexi: Sure,it doesn't have to be a fancy place. I'm in the mood for Burger King
Diggy: Anywhere is fine with me,ma
*they leave the hotel room*
