Chapter 4: No fairytale love(Do It Like You)

Jessica's POV

Zen: Are you sure you're ok?

Jess: I told you I'm fine

Zen: Ok. I'm just asking considering that you took the break up really well

Jess: I wasn't really feeling a spark between Diggy and I anymore

Zen: Why?

Jess: It's not important Zendaya

Zen: But you tell me everything, I'm your best friend!

Jess: This is just something that I can't tell you

Zen: So that's it?!

Jess: What?

Zen: You're gonna start keeping things from me?

Jess: Only this,and you're not my mom anyway

Zen: *mumbles* I regret staying home with you...

Lexi POV

Jade: ...Where are you going?

Lexi: The pool

Jade: But you don't have your bathing suit on

Lexi: I'm going to the benches at the pool. That's where I'll find Nolen *starts smiling*

Jade: How do you know he's gonna be there?

Lexi: I got his number last night,while you and Taylor were asleep

Jade: *gasps* You snuck out?! Without me?

Lexi: Yeah

Jade: So besides getting his number,what did he say to you?

Lexi: Well he asked if I could meet him at the pool,so,yeah

Jade: *raising her eyebrow* That's all?

Lexi: uh-huh

Jade: Okay

I made my way to the benches and I saw Nolen waiting. I sat down next to him and a smile crept on his face,showing his deep dimples

Nolen: Hey Lexi.

Lexi: *smiling* Hey Nolen, how you been?

Nolen: *smirks* Good,just thinkin' boutchu

Lexi: *smiles hard and laughs a bit* So...you wanted to ask me something?

Nolen: Yeah uhm,tonight there's this party at a club across the street from the hotel...

Lexi: And?

Nolen: And I was wondering if you would be my date?

Lexi: I'd love to be your date!

Nolen: *sighs in relief* That went well!

Lexi: *laughing* Why were you nervous?

Nolen: I don't know,something about you just made me feel like that

Lexi: Well you shouldn't be nervous

Nolen: I guess I just didn't want to ruin the moment,but I remember when you were nervous yesterday when we met *smirks*

Lexi: Yeah I was,but who wouldn't be,you are handsome
