Chapter 26: Time Flies(This Feeling)

EPILOGUE CHAPTER

1 YEAR LATER - Lexi's POV

I've been waiting for this day my whole life. The day when I finally get married. The day when I get to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing man. As a child I've always wondered who my husband would be and if he would be just like I imagined: loving, caring, always staying by my side through thick and thin, putting up with my flaws and of course...handsome. I'm happy to say that I found all of that in my very-soon-to-be husband named Daniel Dwayne Simmons III...

Minister: ...Daniel, do you take Lexi to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, through sickness and in health?

Diggy: I do.

Minister: Lexi, do you take Daniel to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, through sickness and in health?

Lexi: I do.

Minister: With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you two husband and wife. *looks at Diggy* *smirks* Daniel, you may kiss the bride.

And just with that one kiss...that oh so passionate and loving kiss...I felt a trillion sparks, a lot of butterflies fluttering in my stomach, endless chills running down my spine. It's like I'm falling in love with him all over again. I couldn't help but smile during the kiss because of all the cheering and whistling I heard which came from our families, friends and other guests.

I pulled away and admired Daniel's perfect face. His chocolate brown eyes that glistened in the sunlight, his full pink and plump lips which I desperately wanted to kiss all day, his cute mustache and goatee that complemented his face...and who could that nose of his? Yeah I made fun of it many times but I was just teasing. I still have mad love for him and I always will.

Diggy picked me up bridal style and walked down the aisle while everyone stood up and cheered for us. The sound of seagulls and the waves crashing put me at ease as I hid my face in Diggy's neck. Mmmm, he's wearing that cologne I love. I just couldn't help but smile.

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up with Diggy's arms wrapped around me. I smiled to myself as I remembered the amazing night we had last night. Right after the wedding took place we had to skip the wedding reception but our friends and family still decided to party on. Diggy and I left for our honeymoon which is in Mauritius. It's so beautiful here and being with Diggy makes this honeymoon ten times better...

Lexi: *walks out of the bathroom* Sooo...what do you think? *twirls and smiles*

Diggy: *smiles* Damn.

Lexi: *gasps* Oh my gosh is that all you have to say? Damn?! *grabs a pillow and playfully hits him*

Diggy: *laughs* Ok ok!! I think you look sexy as hell in that bikini. When you gon' let me tap that again? *bites his lip*

Lexi: Hmmm...*straddles him* Maybe after we go down to the beach. Just remember I said maybe...but if not I'll try not to tempt you. *kisses his neck* *pulls away*

Diggy: Why'd you stop?

Lexi: *chuckles* What did I just say to you?

Diggy: I wasn't paying attention.
