You truly are sunshine
Where I used to see clouds
A symphonic radiance
Colors I never saw before
Blessings where I used to see curses
Fuchsia blossom plopping open and shut
Flicking, pulsating with my heartbeat
Too abstract to speak of aloud
A confusing illusion enclosed in a cloud
You have a life and it doesn't matter
That you age
You're beautiful and breathtaking
Simply because you are you
Forever;
Nothing is truly ending,
How do you feel, after all
To know that you are the only palpable remnant
Of all that it used to be and has become?
We are, in no form, permanent
Souls are invisible to the unaware
Not what you see with your eyes
Souls are not temporary
Yet they evolve and develop to be renewed
And improved, never the same, never consistent;
Never grasped as a concept of truth,
Only a belief, a metaphor
But I feel that I am a soul, AND I AM REAL
YOU MUST KNOW THAT I AM REAL
Everyone and everything is crumbling,
The whole planet is crumbling down to
Broken, insignificant bits
And you don't have anyone to call?
I know, you don't have a lot of clothes and essentials, but
Don't you got plenty of baggage, to haul?
Plenty of space and time to cross paths and
Fall before you reach the climax,
Is it difficult, at times, even to crawl?
