Lord of the west's mate? Really?

Part 3

Sesshomaru's pov.

I felt uneasy as I waited for Hoshi to come back. Jaken had asked me several times why I never told him about Hoshi being my mate. I got tired of him talking  so I hit him hard over the head until he had fallen quiet. I hadn't moved since Hoshi left, I stayed seated on her bed as I wait for her to get back. I was just about to go look for her when the door opens and Hoshi walks in with several kimono's in her hands. Her hair was covering one side of her face but she appears to be deep in thought as she walks over to her wardrobe was and hang the kimono's there. "Would you like me to help you take your armor off?" Hoshi asks as she glances over at me a small half smile on her lips. I nod not wanting to wake Rin and Jaken was watching us interact. I wanted to throw the little imp out so I could spend some time alone with Hoshi, show a little emotion to her like I had earlier. She walks over and starts to take off my armor before setting it next to the small swords stands she had, her own swords she placed on it. I let her place my own swords with hers then she walks over and helps me take off my shoes. "I'm going to change." She mumbles a small blush on her face before she walks quickly into the bathroom. "Jaken you will sleep next to Rin." I say as I turn to look at the imp who gives me a shocked look. He complains a little under his breath before he takes a seat next to Rin making me narrow my eyes a little at him. I would have punished him but my attention was drawn back to my mate who walked into the room.

Her night clothes were thin, almost see threw and I could feel my inner beast start to act up a little. I was just glad it was dark and that Jaken had closed his eyes. I fumbled a little to get my top off but her hands were soon over my one stopping me. "You should have told me you wanted your top off earlier when I was taking off your armor." She mumbles and looks up. Her hair moves and I can see a small angry red mark on her face that I grew angry seeing. Hoshi frowns a little but place one hand on my cheek, cupping it a little making me look into her eyes. "I wasn't paying attention and ran into something. Don't look at me like your going to kill someone." Hoshi says before gently placing her hand on my chest before she places my neatly folded top next to my armor. She pulls the blankets back before looking up at me. I lay down, Hoshi copying my actions before she pulls the blankets over our bodies. I roll onto my side and rest my hand on her stomach making her cheeks turn a light red. Her body was warm, I move a little closer to her and her blush gets even darker. My inner beast was excited to be this close to her, to hold her like this and the thought of protecting her at night made him happy. One of her hands rest over my own, the other one gently resting on my chest. I fall asleep once I heard her light breathing letting me know that she was asleep.

I wake up when I felt movement next to me. I growl lowly not liking the warmth next to me pulling away or trying to anyways. I open my eyes a little to see that Hoshi had only rolled over, still asleep and it was still dark out. I use my good arm to pull her closer to me, her back pressed to my chest and she gives a small sigh in her sleep as she moved closer to my warmth. I couldn't help the small smirk that makes its way onto my face before I bend my head down a little so my lips could skim over her neck. She smelled so good I was fighting back my inner beast from marking her as my own. She shivers a little as my lips brush against her skin that had become exposed some how. As I hold her I noticed two things, one her night clothes had come lose and two her skin was warmer than before under my hand. I hum lightly before taking one more deep breath to get her scent that helps to put me back to sleep. The next time I wake up it was to giggling and when I open my eyes I see Rin giggling a little as she reaches out to Hoshi making her blindly push away whatever was in front of her. I watch what was going on for a little longer, Rin hadn't notice me awake yet so I could watch and see how Hoshi would react to the little girl I travel with.

Rin gets a little bolder and pulls a little at Hoshi's hair. "Madoka stop." Hoshi mumbles in her sleep before rolling over and rubbing her face lightly into my shoulder. I was shocked but secretly pleased. My inner beast purrs a little as her chest rubs against my own, the small movement made shivers run up and down my spine. I was just lucky that Rin and Jaken hadn't noticed I was awake yet or they would do something, Jaken would make a fuss and wake Hoshi which I wasn't willing to let go of yet. I don't think Hoshi realized what she was doing in her sleep because she takes a deep breath, when she breaths out it makes both my hair and hers tickle my chest a little. I didn't make a sound just pulled her closer. I was a little annoyed and wanted to growl at Rin and Jaken for making so much noise but on the other hand it got Hoshi to move closer to me, something that both my inner beast and I greatly enjoyed. Rin giggles again, this time it was very soft as if she was trying hard to hold it back. "Master Jaken they look like a married couple. Do you think Lady Hoshi will marry Lord Sesshomaru?" Rin says making Jaken huff a little. "It is not our place to think of such things." Jaken yelps making Hoshi growl a little. I feel her pull away and before there was a gasp for air. I quickly sit up to see Hoshi picked up Jaken around his neck and was tightening her hold cutting off his air supply. "Never tell a child to not think." Hoshi growls in a deadly sounding tone. I place my hand on her back making her stiffen a little. Rin whimpers a little at the sound of Hoshi's growl. "Stop." I say as I pull her back a little. She drops the imp still growling before turning her attention to Rin.
