***Karley's POV***

My phone slipped out of my hand as I stood there frozen. It couldn't be Justin, it just couldn't be him. I saw his burnt body, I went to his funeral, I saw everything. He was dead. I thought about earlier today and it all hit me. Those were Justin's eyes, this is Justin's jacket, that was Justin. I was shocked to say the least, but I was also excited. I mean the love of my life had been dead for a year, and now... now he isn't! I picked up my phone and was relieved to see it didn't crack. The call was ended, so I rushed out of the bathroom to my car. The freezing air hit me like bricks as I exited the shop. My car was across the empty street, so I jogged over to it. My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking. I put my seat belt on and started my truck. I raced home. If this was some huge prank I would be so upset, but I wasn't going to loose faith yet. My grip on the steering wheel got harder and harder the closer I was to my house. Pulling up our driveway, I noticed there was an extra car parked there. Brett! He was home from college. I ran inside after shutting my car off to find him. Arms wrapped around me from behind and spun me around.

"Brett! Oh my gosh! What are you doing back home?" I asked laughing

He looked sad and said, "I missed you. You look so beautiful! I love you! Remember that tonight."

"I love you , too! I wont ever forget. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you, Pattie, and the guys." I said a little worried

"Well as much as I love you, you need a shower." He gave me a begging look with a wink

I nodded slowly as he pushed me to the stairs. He whispered trust me into my ear and I became very hesitant. I made it to my room, slowly locking the door. I followed all of my instructions. After blasting Common Denominator as loud as my speakers would go, I went into the bathroom. Turning on the light, a pair of hands closed the door and covered my mouth.

"Shhhh. Trust me." The man said.

Chills rolled down my back, as those words came out of his mouth just like Brett's. Looking in the mirror, I saw it was someone taller than me dressed in all black. Anyone would be scared for their life in this situation, but I have never felt so comforted. He took his hands off my mouth and slowly turned me around. He put his hand up, gesturing me to hold on. He pulled his hood off, followed by the bandanna and the sunglasses.

"Justin..." My voice trailed off as the tears formed.

"Karley." He breathed with a smile wider than the universe.

My arms wrapped around his body, as the tears slipped down my cheeks. I couldn't believe it. He was here. The one man who meant the entire universe to me. The one man who I thought was dead. The one man who I loved. He pulled away laughing as the tears fell down his perfectly sculpted face. Caressing my cheek in his warm hand, he gently brought our lips together. Wrapping my arms around his neck, he rested his hands on my hips. I finally found my missing piece and the puzzle of my heart was complete. His tongue brushed against my lip begging for entrance. Millions of butterflies filled my stomach the second our tongues met. I got lost like I had so many times before. Our tongues danced together as we held each other tighter. Swirling his tongue around mine, the sparks were going crazy. I felt like I was back on cloud nine. He pulled away, resting his forehead on mine as we tried to regain our breath.

Looking into his eyes, I saw my man. I saw the happiest, funniest, most loving man ever. There was something else, too. His eyes showed sadness, worry, and fear. He looked so much older than the last time I saw him. He looked more beaten up and dead inside. It broke my heart. He wiped away my joyful tears with his thumbs, kissing the few tears that escaped afterwards. I caressed his cheek with my hand, still in disbelief. Holding my wrist, he nudged his face closer longing for my touch.
