"So what?They found where she's located??"Jones said walking up to me.
"Well yes,and no.The guy spotted where she was.Which was in the trunk."I said mixing some Hazelnut creamer into my coffee."Oo this smells so good."I picked up the white mug and sniffed the creamy liquid.
"So what now?Have you traced the guys call?!?I mean that would be useless.Right?"Jones said pacing back and front.I didn't like his attitude towards this case.
"Yuck.This taste horrible.Back to the French Vanilla."I placed the mug into the sink."Listen Jones.Mendoza and Smith are trying to locate it.Systems are somehow down.But we'll get lucky ."
"I mean if-"He began to speak but he was cut off by another voice.One filled with concern.
"Where the heck is she!?"A young male walked in with a female holding crutches behind him.
"And you must be..."I gave him a questioning look.
"Chris.Her boyfriend."He said folding his arms.The girl behind him step forward.
"And im Camilla."She said giving me a genuine smile.
"Wow.You already moved on huh?Shame on you .Crystal hasn't even been gone for 72hrs and now your here with her."Jones said gesturing his hand to the young lady.But what got me thinking is how he knows these people so good?
"Do you know these people Jones?"I asked stepping in front of the young couple.
"No.He only knows me as Crystals boyfriend.And for your information officer this is Camilla,Crystals other bestfriend."Jones looked taken back.But stiffened back.
"Ok ok.Save your drama for your llama boys.Thank you very much."(LMAO!Im so stupid,lol Twaimz).
They ignored me and still continued to bicker like 12yr olds.They didn't even notice when I pulled Camilla over and walked over to my desk.
"What are you doing?"She said catching her self before she fell.
"This."I grabbed a bullhorn and clicked it on."LISTEN IDIOTS!STOP BICKERING LIKE TEENAGERS!"I said.
"Well he is still kind of a teenager ."Jones said walking over towards me he was covering one of his ears.
"Yeah w.e.Ok Chris so we got information about your girlfriend Crystal.A guy called us and gave us some description.Now we're doing all we can do to get close as possible to Crystal."I informed him.He clenched his jaw.
"Oo when I find that mother-"He started but couldn't finish.
"Chris calm down.Being angry isn't going to bring Crystal home!"Camilla said holding his shoulder.
"How can I not be angry Camilla!That f.cker has Crystal!I need her."His voice broke at the end.
"Um..listen did any of you got a hold of Crystals mother?"Jones said after clearing his throat.Right.The mother,she must be devastated.Crystal is all she has.
"Yeah,she'll be landing soon."The young lady spoke up.
"Ok good.I need all three of you to leave now.We'll talk about this later."I said gathering all my papers together.
Chris and Camilla nodded then left but Jones stayed.
"You sure about this case Sally?"He said calling me by my first name.
"Yes !Dammit Jones!What the hell is your problem?!?Why aren't you sure about this case?"I moved closer to him.He's been so off lately.Like this young girls life doesn't matter."You need to fix your attitude Jones.I thought you knew this girl."I stated,he still didn't answer.
"Whatever.Goodnight Casanova."He spoke.And with that ,he left while slamming the door.Great.
I sat down at my desk and tugged at my hair.You accepted this position Sal!So you get all the hard stuff.Ugh can this situation get any better?
*Ring Ring*
"Hello,this is Offi.Casanova.How may I assist you?"I asked the caller.
"Yea Sal,this is Brown.We've got an accident on Johnson's BLVD."It was Offi.Brown.I scrunched up my face in confusion.Why does this concern me?
"Um ok..Brown why are you telling me this?It doesn't involve-"I started to argue but I got cut off.
"I know Sal!But it involves your case.The guy who called the station to inform you about that Henz girl.Well..He's dead."
What ?How can he be already dead?What the bloody hell!
"How do you know its the same guy?"I asked grabbing my notepad.
"Smith tracked his phone.And when we arrived at where the tracking was located.We found the guy's car on fire with him inside."
"Ok.Thanks."And with that the call ended.So the only person who saw Crystal in that trunk is now dead?Great.Just f.cking Great!
