Instead of me being happy that someone else found us;I was scared to death.Why did he have a shotgun?Why is it aimed directly towards me?
"Um Hi?"Kevin asked.He picked me up so swiftly.I felt a sharp pain towards the center of my back.I turned my head slowly,only to see Kevin with a calm face and him having me at knife-point .This stranger didn't even notice that if I even breathe a word that I'm being kidnap,it's over for the both of us.So I did what any scared minor would do.I played along..
"What's going on?Mam I heard you screaming .Is everything alright?"He kept on switching his gaze.One minute he's looking at me with concern the next minute he's looking at Kevin with a stink glare.
"My wife is fine.Can you leave now?We were just having fun."Kevin stated.Wait what ?Wife?Is he on drugs?
Kevin must of recognized my uncomfortable state.He put more pressure onto the knife.Which telling me,not to try anything .At all.
"I wasn't talking to you ,was I?Now Ms. is everything alright?"He asked stepping more closer .This was my chance to escape but I knew he would catch me and kill me.So I lied.
"Um,yeah.Everything is ok .Me and my um..husband are fine.Thanks."I tried not to cry or even sound shaky at the end of my sentence .How stupid.Why did I call him my husband?
"Are you sure,I mean-"
"Honey!Why are you taking so long ?The kids and I are hungry."A young female said walking through some branches.This must be his wife?
"Babe,I told you I would be right back.But I heard screams and it leaded me towards these two."The guy said.Kevin was smirking.If his guy kept assuming his whole family will be dead.I know that for a fact.
"Well it's none of our business.I'm sure they're fine."She said grabbing his hand."Right?"She turned to me and Kevin.
"Yes." We both said at the same time.But I was the only un-sure one.
"Ok great.We'll be on our way now."Kevin spoke up,pulling me along with him.
"Ok see ya."The lady said.
As we walked pass them,I heard the guy whispered something to his wife.
"They're weird."He whispered towards her.
"Yeah I know,that's why I was trying to pull you away.But you wanted to be Mr.Sheriff."She whispered back.
Only if they knew that I was in fact not his wife,nor was I fine.
