Still no sign of Crystal.I actually cried two nights ago.Call me a wuss or whatever but Crystal means alot to me.I just miss her smile.Her genuine smile would lit up a dull room.
The feeling of losing your girlfriend is hard.But she just wasn't my girlfriend,she was my world.She was my bestfriend.My better half.I just wish I could of made things right before we had that stupid argument.
Before we met Camilla,me and Crystal was tight as ever.I'm not saying Camilla ruined us or anything.Camilla is a awesome female.So generous and caring.But before she came along,me and Crystal did alot of things.
Camilla?That's right I haven't talk to her in a while.She was absent most of the time.
I grabbed my phone and began dailing her number.It took 3 rings for her to finally answer.
"Chris?"
"Yeah,Camilla it's me.Where are you?"I asked.
"I uh..I'm watching a horror flick.Wassup?"
"Oh cool.Your home?And what's this one about?"
"Umm..N-no Chris.I'm not home.I'm out actually.And it's about a girl who is captured."
"Really Camilla!?"I heard a voice shout through the phone.It was a male's voice.
"Camilla are you with someone?"
"N-no no!Of course not silly.But how are you?"
"Not to good.I'm still worried about Crystal.Camilla it's almost 2month's since she disappeared.And on the other hand I can't see you.We barely hang.Like what are best friends for?"
"I'm so so sorry Chris.Hey!How about this.We can go out for dinner and catch up."
I felt kinda weird doing this.Wouldn't it be behind Crystals back?I mean I have zero feelings for Camilla so it wouldn't hurt to catch up.Right?
"Um you sure Camilla?I mean wouldn't that effect me and Crystals relationship?Like-"
"Chris can you shutup?It won't effect you and C's relationship.I mean come on she can totally trust me with you?"
"Okay your right.I'll pick you up at 7 okay Camilla?"
"Yeah okay."
With that the phone call ended.I was walking around my apartment when I heard a knock.
I opened the door only to see the woman I know who is going through alot."Oh Chris.I miss her so much!"Mrs.Henz fell into my arms with tears.I patted her back to give comfort because I know what she is going through.
"I know.I-I miss her too Cindy."I couldn't help but keep the tears back.Crystal was our sunshine in our lives.
"Chris they need to find her!They need to find my baby!I am such a terrible mother!I know I should have paid more attention to Crystal."She screamed as more tears fell from her eye's."Why her Chris?Why my baby?!"She yelled as she pulled onto my shirt.The thing is,I didn't know the answer to that.I just held her until she calmed down a bit.
"Look at me Cindy.It's not your fault!It's mines."I spoke as I sat her down.Confusion took over her facial expression.
"What do you mean Christopher?"She asked while wiping her tears.
"It was my fault.If we hadn't gotten into a fight that day.She would still be here.But I blew it.My jealous side got the best of me.I mean we did make back up but it's still my fault."I said to her.And everything was the truth.It was my fault.Juan was innocent.
"Why were you jealous?I'm still confused."She said walking over to me.
"Well it was this guy named Juan.I guess he was Crystals friend before she met me and Camilla.Well anyways,he came back into town as a cop or whatever and I kinda got jealous of him and Crystals relationship.I don't know why.I mean like she was already my girlfriend but I guess I was a bit insecure.I mean like they were so clo-"
"Wait!You and Crystal was together?How come I never got confirmation about this?!You two will look so good at prom and and-"I had to cut her off.I gave her a look and she finally remembered."Oh right."That's when she started crying again.
"Well yeah.And I accused her and I know it was stupid but i'm just a jealous fool in love.But yeah and after that incident I didn't see her and then bam I hear that she disappeared."I spoke then finally sat down.I felt a heavy weight was lifted off of my chest.
"It's not your fault Chris.It's okay."She got up and hugged me."We have to stay strong besides I have bad news."She said to me as she walked over towards the window.
"What is it?"
"While I was at the hospital I overheard some officers talking about the detective that was on Crystals case.They were saying that she wasn't answering her phone.They might think she's missing also."She said with a terrified look.
"Don't worry she'll turn up sooner or later.But for now-"I got interrupted by my cell phone ringing off."One sec."
"Hello?"
"Hey Chris.I was wondering what I should wear.Have any ideas?"
"Nothing to serious.I mean i'm just meeting you at the bar outside of town.So wear jeans or something I don't know ."
"Oh okay.I mean I could put on a dr-"
"Not now.I'm busy."With that I hung up and turned back to Mrs.Henz."Sorry about that."
"Who was that?Are you seeing another female behind Crystals back?"
"No no.It was just Camilla.I was supposed to meet her at a bar tonight.We have to catch up.She was gone for a while."I spoke as I grabbed my keys.
"Oh okay then.I should be on my way.See you later Chris."She kissed me on my cheek before walking towards the door.
"Okay.Take care Mrs.Henz."With that she left.I locked the front door sat back on the couch.
Crystal where are you?
