He got back up and put his hands up in surrender.

"It is okay," he said slowly. "You are safe, I won't hurt you."

"Who are you and why am I here?" Her voice was like velvet to him and to was finally directed towards him.

"I am Nic." His broken English was a clear indicator that he was not american like she was. "You are at my cabin. It is safe."

"Safe? Safe from what? Because I'm sure not safe from you right now."

"You are safe from others and I won't hurt you. We're made to be together. suflet pereche. What you call Soulmate. I was made for you, you for me. It's destiny."

"Are you insane? You can't just take someone!" She whispered and sat down on the bed with her hands on her face. Her body shook as she silently cried.

"It has never been a problem." Nic asked in confusion and moved so he could be next to his Celestina.

"Please don't." Her voice cracked and she tried to move away from him.

But he didn't want her to be afraid of him so he moved closer anyway. He sat next to her and brought her to his chest. She froze under his touch, Nic figured that Cel just needed time to adjust to him, but to him this felt nice. It really felt like she belonged to him.

"Why am I here? Why me?" She tried to push away from him but he just tightened his hold.

"Because you are frumoaso(beautiful) and perfect. You were made for me, it was destined for us to meet."

"You mean destined for you to kidnap me? I am not an object, I want to go home. Now." She stated and finally got out of his vice like grip.

Nic started to whistle and tap his hand on his thigh as he looked agitated. Why did his Cel believe that he wasn't made for her? He was. He may not be the absolute best for her but their fates were still intertwined. Maybe he just can to convince her.

The man stopped his whistling and tapping when he noticed her glaring at him. Did she find that annoying? He got up and looked at the clock on the side table.

"Shower. I will make breakfast." And with that said, he walked out of the door, leaving it open for her.

He walked into the cozy kitchen and scrubbed his hands clean. Then he grabbed a few eggs from the fridge and some orange juice. He needed to go on a supplies run soon.

When Nic heard the shower turn on he grinned, she was cooperating with him.

Nic made fried eggs with fresh spices that he knew she liked, she should feel right at home with this breakfast. This, after all, was her new home where she would stay with him. She could even help him, he thought. But he shook his head, no, he wants her to keep being his heavenly, innocent Celestina.

He set two plates on the counter while quietly whistling. He served the food equally and sat down in front of a plate as he waited for his Cel to come into the kitchen.

When twenty-five minutes or so passed and the food grew cold, Nic's face grew colder as well, his anger rising as well.

He immediately stood from his chair and marched to the bathroom door. He was about to raise his fist to the door but immediately stopped when he heard sobs coming from his angel.

Her soft sobs over the sound of the shower made his heart clench. She was his now, why was she crying? Couldn't she see that this is meant to be? Nic was only trying to do what's best for both himself and Cel.

When he heard the shower turn off and her sobs stop, he figured he'd go back in the kitchen to warm up their food again.

Should he confront her about the crying and ask what was wrong or should he just pretend that he didn't hear? He wants only what's best for her well being so if she needs something then she should tell him. It was only fair.
