Anger

Fire burning, burning deep within,
So strong it shakes my every limb.
Always present, it's my one true sin,
I hope that some day it will finally dim.

Staying dormant it hides its' aim,
Waiting for the day it roams free.
A blaze no body can tame,
Yet I'm the one who pays the fee.

It engulfs those who are near,
Now they know my shame.
They watch my skin begin to sear,
Amazed to see me, the center of the flame.
