'Another horrible day' I thought to myself as I entered the doors to my school. As I walked down the hall to my lookers everyone starred at me like I was an alien. I got to my looker, put the code in and it popped open. I got my books for the first two lessons and walked to my class. I didn't want to deal with people, I guess I wasn't a person person? I slid down the wall next to the door of my class room, waiting for the teacher to come. People where still starring at me. I just wanted this day to end.

"So your single now?" I looked up an there was Jake one of my best friends.

"Yup." I said popping the p.

"Don't worry about the asshole, you're tough you can get through it." He said as he sat down beside me. Jake was in nearly all the same classes as me, I'm glad he was.

"I know, it's just everyone seems to be making a big deal of it."

"Fuck them, I'm here for you, remember that."

"Thanks Jake." I turned me head and smile at him. Out of the corner of my eye I could see my other best friend Jess.

"Hey gurl." She said, making Jake jump, I laughed at that. She sat on the other side of me.

"How you doing babe?" Jess asked.

"OK, I guess." I replied.

"Just hold your chin high and show that fucker that you don't give a damn." Me and Jake both laughed.

"Love you both, you little shits." Now both of them were laughing.

"Love you too." They said in unison and we all laughed.

The teacher came and unlocked the door. We stood up and found our seats in the class room. I groaned, today was going to be a long day.

Five lessons into the day and it was lunch. I walked into the cafeteria and everyones heads turned to me. I just shook it off and went to find a table, not feeling like any food. As I walked thourgh the maze of tables I saw my ex and that bitch making out. I could hear whispers from behind me. 'Don't say anything, just walk away' I thought to myself. I was so tempted to say something to that slut but I would just make things worse. I walked to my table where Jake and Jess were.

"Why no food today, Am?" Jess asked.

"Not hungry." I replied sitting down.

Some one tapped my shoulder and I turned to see who it was. It was one of Tiffany's little sidekicks, Cherry.

"Hey, are you ok?" She asked in the most annoying voice.

"Why would you care?" I sneered, she was taken back by it.

"Well, I thought it was really mean what Tiffany did to you." She responded.

"Don't act like you didn't know!" I yelled at her as I stood up. All heads turned to me.

"Gosh, I was just trying to be nice." I was getting really fucking annoyed with her.

"Whatever." I said storming off and out the cafeteria. As I walked down the halls I ran into something, looking up to what it was. It looked like a new boy, a really hot new boy.

"Are you ok?" He said looking worried, I just nodded my head.

"Well," He continued. "I'm Brad."

"Amber." I said simply.

"Nice to meet you Amber." He replied and walked past me.

"You too." I said after him.

Something about him was oddly familiar.
