Chapter 15

Chapter 15 - 1735 words

I blinked my eyes a few times and rubbed them warily. As my vision returned from being asleep, I was startled to see Eddie peacefully sleeping next to me. Looking around the hotel room, I only saw one bed. I blinked a few more times and decided to get up, seeing the clock next to me read 10:03am. I gathered my cloths for the day and had a quick shower. When I returned to the main part of the hotel room, I saw that Eddie was awake.

"Good morning." I mumbled, still feeling sleepy. That shower did not wake me up at all.

"Someone got put of the wrong side of bed this morning." Eddie grinned.

"How are you so lively so early in the morning?" I questioned.

"I'm surprised myself." He sighed a bit but still had a grin on his face.

"So, what are we doing today?" I asked.

"The rest of the guys will be here in the afternoon so we've got time to go around the city. How does that float your boat?"

"Good." I said, a bit more awoken.

~ (skipping sight seeing cuz writers block xp) ~

Since Eddie has been to Boston a few times, he was my tour guide for the day. We went to many places and he even bought me a souvenir. I also bought some for Jess and Jake. Right now we were at the harbor, looking out as the sun was slowly setting in the sky.

"I had a great day, thanks for showing me around Boston." I smiled,breaking throw our silence.

"No problem, it was my pleasure." Eddie giggled and slung his arm around me, giving me a slight squeeze. I waited for Eddie to remove his arm but he never does. We were just standing there awkwardly watching the sun sink into the sea. I must admit, it was nice being like this. It made me blush slightly and my heart race a little. Maybe I like Eddie?

A beep comes from my back pocket. I take out my phone to show a text from Jordan. It read:

Just landed and on our way to the hotel.

I breath out a small sigh. "They've landed, we should probably get back to the hotel."

"Yeah, you're right." Eddie agreed. He retracts his arm and starts walking to the street. When he removed his arm I felt cold. 'I want his warmth back.' I thought and grabbed his hand mindlessly.

Eddie looked at me with a puzzled look on his face. "You okay?"

"Ah, yeah. Sorry." I replied, breaking out of my trance. I removed my hand from Eddies.

"We should hurry." I said as I rush in front of him. As we walk to the hotel in silence, I made sure that I'm about a metre in front of Eddie.

I could now see the hotel as well as Jordan, Dan, Seamus, James and Aleks getting out of taxis and dragging their bags into the lobby.

We entered the lobby and said our greetings to everyone. I told Eddie to go to our room while I organise a room change.

~ Eddie's P.O.V ~

I fucked up. I totally fucked up. Firstly, I put my arm around. She didn't protest but I said I would only make a move on Amber after PAX. Secondly, when she grabbed my hand I looked at her weirdly. I just wanted to grabbed her hand again. But, now she is giving me the cold shoulder. This is what I was trying to avoid.
