"I couldn't see anything..."

"Mitsutada!" He could hear a familiar voice called him. He turned around but all he could see was darkness. "Mitsutada! Hang in there!"

"Aruji?" he tilt his head and reached out into the voice, eager to ran right into his master's place. But it seemed like his strength was gone. He took a deep breath, trying to understand his circumstances and realized that he was tied tightly into a stone pillar.

"Aruji, what happened? Where am I? Where are you?" his voice was nothing more than a hoarse whisper. "Aruji!?"

"Here, I'm here," he could feel her cold finger tracing on his sore arm. Shortly, he felt the cold steel on his skin and suddenly the ropes that hold his body was snapped. He felt on the icy floor, panting as he tried his best to catch some air. He could feel her cold fingers on his face, while his vision was nothing but some blur figures moving around in front of him. "I'm here, Mitsutada. Gosh, what have they done to you?"

"Aruji! Hurry up and leave this area!" another familiar voice was heard, thundered from afar. "We can't hold them any longer!"

"Let's go, Aruji. Leave Mitsutada to me," a gentle voice heard from his left side. "You still have some kekkai to be cracked,"

"Thank you, Tonbokiri,"

As his vision slowly became better, he could see his master's red hair tangled on top of him. What a beautiful sight, he thought.

And suddenly, an arrow pierced through her throat, showered him with her warm blood.

As his vision started to become clear, his master's body stumbled on his lap. Her body was flood by her own blood and there he was, could do nothing but watch. He couldn't think anymore as he witness her life disappeared from her eyes. After that, even Mitsutada himself couldn't remember anything for he was handed himself completely into the eternal darkness and regret.
