In this place I once was with you
the season is changing again
In the night sky I looked up to,
unchanged from that day, you smile

"Look, your favorite silly flowers are still there," I whispered her name into the wind, in the same manner I used to call her. "Still raining everything with its snow-like petals,"

I looked at the big trunk in front of me and wonder why it looks a lot smaller than the last time I saw it. How many years passed since that day really? Well, it doesn't matter anymore, since everything was gone in the eternal darkness. All, except me, and I doesn't bother to give a damn on it. Not anymore.

I hold a small pendant on the end of my necklace. It was just a small bone that I snatched from her pinkie before her shape scattered like dust in the wind. This bone, this little fragment of her, was the only reminder I had to keep her in my mind. The only thing that I had to make myself believe that all of that wasn't just a long nightmare.

That night, she appeared in front of me, glowing in a dim light like the moon himself. Her silver hair looked like the finest silk brought by the western traders. Her skin was as clear as the snow. Around her neck, there was a shiny choker from a bright colored metal I've never seen before, adorn with the most outstanding rangyoku planted in the middle. She wore a white, sleeveless kimono, with a strange cut. It looked too short for a grown up, but a bit too much for a girl, and her clog looked like it had been merged into her skin. She had a weird, glowing picture on her back, and was awkwardly trying to cover it up with her hair.

She didn't say any words, but I knew she was asking for my help. In her silence, I could see fears shone from her beautiful rangyoku eyes. I really understand that look, since my late mother was always give me that kind of look when she broke a plate or forgot to take some water in the river. That look was asking me to help her, or else somebody will hit her face hard enough to make her choke on her own blood.

"Who is that?" my spouse asked me. We were just married and even though that was an arranged marriage, I do love her, from the first time I saw her, until now. She had an authentic beautiful smile, the reason I was crazy on her.

"I don't know," I waved my hand, told her to stay inside the cart. There was a great fear built in my heart, something that I thought I knew for so long, even though I couldn't remember it. Those feelings were like having a nightmare, and to be honest, I wanted to run away, like my mother always told me. Ran away so I wouldn't be caught in a trouble.

"Be careful. She looks suspicious,"

"Hello?" I asked, felt my wakizashi on my waist and waiting for a sudden attack. "Who is there?"

"Target detected!"

And suddenly, everything drowned into chaos. A voice was heard. The explosion was so sudden, I thought there was a lightning struck the cart. I turned around and found the white figure was standing on top of my wife's dead body, stuck her sword on the wrecked cart while my spouse's blood squirt. I screamed in despair, asking every Gods I worship what've I done to have this kind of punishment.

"Silver cross..." I could hear my wife hoarse voice raised. "God's snakes! What are you doing far in the ancient east like this?"

"To hunt your kind of course," she said calmly. She giggled, twisted her sword and I could hear my wife screamed as her sword dig a hole on her body. "Funny huh... you want to hide from us so badly to the point of it's ok to jumping across the time illegally, even though you knew you will lost some of your memories. You don't even scare to see this amount of silver I put on. How sweet,"

"I didn't scared, because I'm not one of the filios luna you dickheads looking for," she looked at me and smiled. "Run, my dear. I'll take care of this problem,"

Those were her last words. The next second, all I remembered was a big fire suddenly appeared. I heard a scream as the white figure squirmed her melted body away from the cart. She crawled toward me, screaming in every move she made. Her flesh drip as she approached, leaving her blackened bones exposed. What a horrible sight, looked like someone was flushed her with a very strong acid.

"Filios Luna! I'll bring you to hell with me!" she came closer. I didn't know what to do, so I chopped her melted head off and ran to the wrecked cart, trying to save my wife. But when I arrived, all I could find was her mummified right hand. I cried as hard as I could until I was satisfied. Then, defeated, I snapped her pinkie bone, put it in my handkerchief and brought it with me.

When I look up, the starry sky fluttering with petals seems lonely
I embrace it and
so that the two of us will never be parted again
I'll light the ground at your feet

"I've remembered everything, and I've became strong enough now," I whispered to the tree in front of me. "I've got our clan's trust and driven the silver cross into madness. I'm challenging them in an open war this time, and I know I'll win. Soon, our revenge will be complete,"

I could see her smile gently in front of me. I returned her smile and bow politely as the sakura petals showered us with its beautiful pale colors.

Sakura fall, I caught a petal
embracing a piece of you
Tears, no matter how many of them I count
that day will not return

"Watch me, my dear. For I will dedicate my victory for you,"
