"So, where really do you guys come from?" I asked Lukas and Aiden as we journeyed back home. The journey was not an easy one -- you wouldn't expect climbing up a thousand feet ravine to be easy.

"Us? We're born here, of course." Laughed Aiden.

"Oh well, I'm from earth." I said

"Earth? I've heard a lot of rumors and stuff about 'earth' and there being 'other worlds'... I thought it was all fraud." Lukas said. "Tell me about earth. What's life like there?" Aiden added.

"Well," I began, but some obstacles came in our way that caused us to spit. We would only meet on the other side.

Anyway, I'm not going to cover the whole journey. It was extremely tiring and boring. I'll skip over to when we reached surface. So, I climbed up the final block and found myself back in my 'local cave'. I looked back down at the ravine and it looked terrifying from up here -- more terrifying than what it actually was down there. I said to Lukas and Aiden, "This is where it all started. How I ended up down there in the first place."

"That's horrible. Let's get out of here and show us the dirt house you were talking about." Aiden said.

It felt glad to be back on land. The sun had just risen, and the silhouette of my house stood in the distance. By now, I was as jolly as a small child, and I led Lukas and Aiden to my house. "Sorry if I seem crazy, it's just that I'm glad to be home at last." I said to the two. They nodded their head in acknowledgement -- there really wasn't any answer to what I said. Anyway, we reached my house and I got to work right away -- Lukas and Aiden had given me my share of the iron they had mined down in that ravine, so I had to smelt it all. I put it in my furnace and went out to go get some food.

Back on earth, I absolutely loved horses. I'd do anything in life to own a horse. And I knew Minecraftia had horses -- I had seen a framed image of one in the Minecraftian consul. But I never had saw one since I moved in. Now, something really caught my eye, and made me more excited than ever. Three horses stood grazing next to my house! They were beautiful indeed. One was a black horse with a lush mane and tail. The second one was a chestnut with a lush, golden mane and tail. And the last one was a paint. Brown and white, with a lush brown mane, but surprisingly had a white tail.I ran over to the house and said to Lukas and Aiden,

"Is it possible to tame a horse?"

"Of course. Take these," Aiden said and he dropped a bunch of carrots on the ground, "and give it to the horses. They'll start following you around. Then, put a saddle on and you're good to ride."

I picked up the carrots and walked over to the black one. That was the one I wanted. But wait! I had three saddles with me. What if I tamed a horse for each of us? That's exactly what I did.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: The only way I'm aware of to tame a horse is to mount on, fall off, repeat until the horse is tamed. But in my opinion, that's actually quite lame so I made it that you can tame a horse using carrots, in my setting.

I walked over to the black horse and tried to pat it. It grunted and walked away. I then pulled my carrots out of my backpack and all three of them came, nosing me all over. "Woah, woah. Hold up, your turn will come soon!" I said. I fed the carrot to the black horse first. "Give him another, he'll run away." I heard Aiden saying. I gave him another carrot and he started following me around everywhere I went.

I tamed all the horses in that manner, and put a saddle on each.

"We need to build a barn for them," I said to Aiden and Lukas, "and we need to be quick about it." I added.
"I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you," Aiden said in a drowsy, casual tone.
"What do you mean?" I asked him, "They'll get eaten for dinner in no time! The sun will set anytime soon!"
