The Prince & The Maid

Part 2

-Chapter 4-

King Gregory and Will were walking across to his bedroom. Once inside, King Gregory closed the door and turned toward Will, smiling. Will didn't have a good feeling about this. "Father, what's going on?" He asked casually. His father's smile got wider. The wider it got, the more Will was regretting leaving Valentina to talk with his father. "I think I finally found someone for you." King Gregory laughed and danced around the room. Oh no! Not now, when he is getting so close to Valentina, he doesn't want someone else in the picture. "Father, please don't tell me you're fixing me up with someone I don't even know!" Unless it was Valentina, he thought. "Oh but son! She is perfect for you! Her name is Princess Evangeline, and she will be coming over next Saturday, and will be staying her for a month." He jumped up and down like a little girl. But Will was just thinking about Valentina, what if she got the wrong idea that he would be intrested in Princess Evangeline? Oh of course she would! He never told her his feelings to her, oh god what has his father done to him! 

Valentina was in her room when Lily walked in. "Hey lover girl!" And she plopped herself onto the bed. Valentina was actually glad her best friend was here, she hasn't spoken to her in about three days! Lily would notice any second now.

"You know, you haven't said anything to me in the past three days." Of course she knew this was going to happen.

"I am sorry, seriously! What can I say to make you forgive me." Lily thought for a second before answering.

"Tell me why you don't want to be with Prince Will?"

The question caught Valentina off guard. "What do you mean?" She played it cool. 

"Don't give me that, you know exactly what I'm talking about!" And she sat upright starring at Valentina.

"It's not that I want to be with him. But- it's complicated." She shrugged her shoulders and walked toward the mirror and just stood there starring at herself.

"Well can you please try to explain it to me?" Lily was still on the bed, she didn't want to disturb what Valentina was thinking about.

Valentina sighed "I just don't see what he sees in me. I am a maid and he is, well, a Prince! And things should stay that way, if there was another Princess going against me and if he had to choose between me and the Princess. Well let's just say, Princesses win every game against maids. How can a Prince love a maid? It's never been like that, thats not the way it works. As I said, and I will repeat. If there was a Princess going against me for Will, then the Princess always wins!" She said with a long sigh.

"The only problem is, there is another Princess going against you." Lily had to tell her, it was better than her finding out by someone else when it should be her best friend. Right?

-Chapter 5-

Valentina was still in the same room with Lily as she had just finished telling Valentina that aPrincess was going against her for Will. It just had to be a Princess! She thought.

"What do you know about her?" Valentina asked.

"Her name is Princess Evangeline, she comes from a small family but incredibly rich! And I've heard a lot in the kitchen from other maids, there are a lot of rumors down there." She pointed down on the floor where the kitchen was. "Anyways, they heard from another maid that works at Princess Evangeline's castle, that one day when she was cleaning her bathroom, Princess Evangeline had no idea she was in there and she kept going on and on about how gorgeous Prince Will is. I mean she was writing a letter to someone and who the hell writes and speaks out loud what their writing? Ok, so she said she wants him badly and she vowed to win the heart of Prince Will. She knows a lot of women want him so she must get there fast and stay as long as possible, even beg her father to keep her here longer so she can stay with Prince Will. She said if there was anyone that Prince Will might be seeing, or liking another lady, well she said she knew once he saw her that would change everything!"
