New Beginnings

Ebony's POV

Ever since Draco and I have been married I've been on cloud nine. He's treated me like a queen. Just yesterday he brought me flowers and chocolate frogs. My favorite! I seriously love him to death. Today is Saturday which means no classes. I decided to plan a trip for me and Draco to Rome, Italy. My family's money is a blessing. They have a trust fund for me but daddy gives me money whenever I need it. What a wonderful father.

Anyway I sent Draco a note to meet me at his dorm before packing my bag. Once I was ready I headed to his dorm. After setting my bag on his bed I sat to wait for him. Luckily I didn't have to wait long.

"Hey babe," he said when he saw me. "What's with the bag?"

"I planned a weekend rendezvous in Rome for us. I haven't seen you all week except for in class."

Draco broke out into a grin. "Yeah?"

"Yeah. Pack a bag so we can go."

Draco got right to it and I smiled. This weekend was going to be a blast. It only took him a few minutes before he looked at me. "Ready."

"Hold on to your bag," I said as I took mine in my other hand.

Once he had his I closed my eyes picturing the city of Rome as I apparated us over. Once I opened my eyes we were standing in front of the Trevi Fountain. "Come on I'll race you to the hotel!"

Draco laughed as we both ran there but I got there first. "I win!"

He shook his head. "I don't think so!" Suddenly he picked me up tossing me over his shoulder.

"Draco!" I exclaimed as he brought me inside. Everyone was staring at us and I blushed. "Put me down so I can check in."

"I'll do it," he said as he walked to the front desk. My face was red with embarrassment and I tried to hide it in his neck. Draco checked us in before carrying me and our bags up to our room.

"Will you let me down now?" I asked him.

"Nope," he said back as he unlocked the door. He put our bags aside and shut the door behind us before carrying me over to the bed.

"How about now?" I asked him a second time.

Without answering he literally tossed me on the bed. I literally bounced on it. "Draco!"

"Yes my queen?" He gave me an innocent look but I knew he's not innocent whatsoever. I just shook my head.

"What in the world are you doing?"

"This." He hovered over me before kissing me hard. I tossed my arms around him as we kissed and not long after we had a beautiful night together.

Larah's POV

It's been weeks since that night where Mark and Ginny got together. I've mostly been keeping to myself not talking to anyone. My heart was still hurting and I didn't think I would ever find a guy who would really appreciate me that I could actually trust. I was eating in the Great Hall by myself when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Sighing to myself I looked behind me to see Blaise.

"Larah? What's wrong? We haven't talked since I rescued you from Malfoy's house."

I shrugged away from him. "I've had issues okay? Can you please just leave me alone?" I could feel the tears coming as I looked down in my lap.

Blaise rubbed my back. "Please talk to me."

"What do you want me to say? Mark dumped me for Ginny so now I have no one. I already hurt you enough. I'm just done with everything."

I can hear Blaise sigh. "You need to give life a chance. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and do something about it. It won't get better otherwise."

"Like what?" I spit out at him. "I hate my life. Maybe I should just get rid of myself once and for all."

He grabbed my shoulders and shook me. "Don't you dare! You have everything to live for. I can't lose you. Stop talking like this and get yourself together."

"Why should I? There is no reason for me to do so."

Before I could say anything else Blaise's lips were on mine. I was taken by surprise as he kissed me hard. His arms went around me holding my body to his. Then I heard a strangled noise behind me. Quickly I pulled back and saw Mark behind me. His eyes were filled with hurt.

"Larah how could you? I dump Ginny for you and this is how you repay me?"

"What are you talking about? You dumped me for her! I heard you say you loved her! Don't you dare say that!" I exclaimed.

Mark's eyes teared up. "I was wrong Larah. I love you and only you. Please take me back."

"How could I after what you did?" I stood up to face him. "You broke my heart and took Ginny! How could I forgive you for that?"

He wiped at his eyes and looked at me. "I said I was sorry. Isn't that enough?"

"No it's not enough! Actions speak louder than words Mark. Maybe you should think about that."

Before Mark could say another word I turned around and stomped out of the Great Hall. I couldn't take it anymore. Then I bumped into someone not realizing where I was going. "Hey watch it!"

I looked behind me to see a couple holding hands. It just made me tear up more. "Girl watch your back. He might hurt you." Then I raced off towards my dorm.
