Larah's POV

I was walking with Blaise down to Care of Magical Creatures when I realized Ebony wasn't with him. "Hey where's Ebony?"

"She has Transfiguration. I wish I can be there instead of here."

"This class isn't that bad. I got an E in it last year."

Blaise snorts. "It's the worst class here. I hate it more than History of Magic and even that is boring."

"Are you just saying that because Hagrid is the teacher?"

He shrugs. "What if I am? He's a stupid oaf."

"Don't say that! He's actually nice."

Blaise gives me a look. "You're not becoming a blood traitor are you?"

"Oh please! I'm a Slytherin aren't I?"

"That doesn't mean anything. You actually have to act like one."

By that time we got to class and my face was red. He was so going to pay for that one. I didn't even look at him and hurried to another girl's side.

"Okay class follow me," Hagrid said.

((Author's note: I'm not very good with Hagrid speak so just disregard the dialogue.))

I follow behind the same girl and we come to a stop by the Forbidden Forest. "So we're going to be working with Blast-Ended Skrewts today. Who wants to feed them?"

I was absolutely horrified and took a few steps back. I nearly collided with Blaise but I righted myself. The girl I was following spoke up.

"I will."

"Great!" Hagrid gestured toward the food pile and I stood far away from it. I couldn't believe my eyes as the girl was feeding them. I was so disgusted that I just ran away not knowing where I was going.

I tripped over a tree root and went to stand again. I looked up to see a figure in a black cloak hovering over me. I let out a terrified scream. I turned and ran some more. I looked back to see the figure following me.

All of a sudden I felt arms around me. I screamed louder than the last time and tried to wriggle away. "Larah! It's just me."

I turned to see Blaise holding on to me. I started to feel dizzy. Before I can say a word the world went black.

Dakota's POV

I turned around at the scream and saw a girl heading back towards us. One of the Slytherin boys grabbed her and I saw her faint. "Professor maybe she should go to the hospital wing," I said.

"Yes she should. Mr. Zabini please take her. Class is dismissed."

I watched the boy carry her off towards the castle. I followed them hoping she was okay. Once we got up there I watched him go towards the hospital wing. I went in another direction since I still had another 30 minutes to do whatever.

I found George sitting in an empty classroom. Why was he in there? I opened the door and walked in. "George? What are you doing here all alone?"

He looks up at me. "I just needed the quiet."

"The quiet? You? You're never quiet. Is something wrong?" I asked him.

George shakes his head. "No."

"Why are you really here?"

He sighs. "Do I really have to explain myself to you?"

I frown. Something is really wrong. "George please. I feel like you don't want to be around me anymore. Did I do something?"

I watch him stand. "God Dakota why can't you just leave it alone?"

Tears roll down my face and I stand next. "I don't know what's wrong with you! If you're going to be like this then maybe we shouldn't be friends." My heart breaks and I run out heading towards the common room.

"Password?" the fat lady asks me.

"Lioness," I say and the portrait opens. I slide on to the couch when I get inside and cry into a pillow. After a minute I feel arms come around me. I look up to see Fred and I hold him tighter tears still falling.

"Dakota? What's wrong?"

"George is acting weird. Ever since we got here he's been really strange. Now he wants me to leave him alone. I don't get it."

I feel Fred rub my back softly. "I'll talk to him for you okay?"

"Okay," I whisper as I settle into his embrace.

I hear the portrait open and someone walks in. "What the hell Dakota?"

I look up to see George. "What? Am I not allowed to hug Fred either?"

He shakes his head angrily and stomps up the stairs to the boys' dorms. More tears escape. "Fred please do something."

"I promise I will darling."

I hug him tighter not letting go. I let my eyes close and fall asleep in his arms.

Mark's POV

I walk around during my free period desperately bored. I tried not to think of Ginny and Dean kissing. It hurt so bad I couldn't stand it. I felt someone run past me then and I saw Zabini holding Larah in his arms. I started to panick and I ran after them.

"Zabini! What happened to her?"

He looks back at me. "It's a long story. Come if you want." He continues to carry her to the hospital wing.

I keep after them and rush in nearly colliding with Madame Pomfrey. "Sorry!"

She looks at me. "It's fine." Then she looks at Larah. "Put her on a bed."

Zabini places her on a bed and I sit on one side of it. I reach for her hand. "Larah please be okay."

"She just fainted. I'm sure she'll be fine when she wakes," Zabini said to me.

I just nod and look over at Madame Pomfrey when she comes back with smelling salts. She puts them under Larah's nose and her eyes open. I watch her try and sit up but she winces.

"Larah lay down," I told her.

She looks at me and shakes her head. "No I can't."

"Yes you can. Do it." I notice she's very pale and has shadows under her eyes.

"Fine." She pouts but she lays down anyway. I smile trying to hold in my frustration.

Madame Pomfrey comes back with a potion. "Drink this."

I watch Larah drink it hoping it will make her better. Some color comes back to her face and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Blech that's disgusting!" she exclaims.

"It helps you to feel better," Madame Pomfrey said. "I want you to stay here tonight. Just for observation. You two boys can go."

"I'll stay here with her," I said. I didn't want her to be alone.

"You really don't need to but if you insist take the bed next to her."

I nod and continue to hold Larah's hand.

"Get better soon Larah," Zabini says before he leaves.

I watch Larah's eyes start to close again and sat there as she falls asleep.

That's the end of this chapter. I promise to try and make the next chapter longer. I honestly didn't know what else to write. Don't forget to vote and give me your feedback! Every comment helps. Really it does.
