When Talis arrived, he felt as if something was amiss. The feeling of a cool breeze, ruffling shadowed leaves when the moon is out. The feeling you have as you hear howling off in the distance. It was upsetting to him, although he continued on. As he walked through the fields, even Mutt and Quicksilver were silent, of which was an odd occurrence to say the least.
He stumbled along a timeline unlike the others, it casted a blackish hue, whereas the others were green. It was a thick strand, healthy and strong. Talis felt drawn to it, as flies to manure. It was enticing him, drawing him, pulling him. He couldn't resist it; he merged into it. The timeline carried him along, all the way to the world of yours.
He found himself on a street of some place he knew not of. There were houses lining the street and on one side there was a woman calling to her son.
"Adolf come here," she cried, for her son was in the middle of the road.
Talis noticed Talontongue creeping up towards the boy, his blade drawn. Talis charged at him, trying to stop him. Talontongue turned quickly, grabbed hold of Talis, and merged the two of them into the boy's timeline; they soared off together.

Cast out of time they were. Together they landed on a platform, as if of stone. They were in the center of it, the two of them slowly rising to their feet, blades brandished.
"What was all that about, eh Talis?" Talontongue asked, gently waving his sword.
"You were going to kill that boy," Talis replied, taking a step forward.
"Your point is?"
"How wicked and demented can you be, why would you kill an innocent child?" Talis thundered, aghast at this man.
"Ah, I see. I see that you only understand what is now and not what is to be. You are narrow minded; ignorant as a child."
At that, Talis lunged forward, Quicksilver performing an uppercut that was quickly parried aside. "How do you live with yourself man?" Quicksilver bellowed.
"I am saving the world of possible horrors," Talontongue replied, swinging his blade low.
Talis stepped back out of reach. "If you wish to save this world of horrors, then you must die," Talis said, Quicksilver coming on faster and faster at every block and parry.
A long, thick strand of time suddenly crept up the platform and wrapped itself around Talontongue, holding him in place, as a python does it's prey. Talis arm was up, Quicksilver poised for a final, finishing blow.
"Ah, how the tables of fate turn," Talontongue remarked, letting his sword drop to the ground.
"Speak not of fate to me, fiend. I care not of your excuses, nor do I care of your pleas. Your time has come." Talis said, grasping Quicksilver in both hands, flexing his muscles for a wicked strike.
"Wait, don't-"
"You do not deserve mercy, you bottom feeding scum," Mutt quickly interrupted.
"Don't cry out, creature of the deep. No one will come to your aid," Quicksilver added.
"You are not thinking of the consequences of this actions," Talontongue blurted, "you may soon face your own execution."
"So be it," Talis replied. Quicksilver came down fast and hard. The head of the Immortalis was no longer tied down, it rolled along the platform.
As it fell off the ridge, everything went dark.
