Aurora's POV
"Well shall we get started?" Harry asks opening the kitchen door for me "yes, we shall." I smile walking into the kitchen, it's small but quaint and cute. I liked it "it's so cute back here!" I smile and turn to look at Harry but find he's already staring at me. I smile and decide to mess with him "you sure do like staring at me don't you curly?" I say with my hands behind my back walking up to him, he's quite tall maybe a good five or six inches taller than me.
"Mhm." He nods still looking at me as I inch closer to him, now we're inches apart. "Can I tell you a secret?" I ask looking into his mossy green eyes. He nods as I stand on my tip toes and grab the collar of his tank top top pulling him closer so my lips are close to his ear, he's started breathing heavier and I smirk.
"You've made a big mistake." I whisper in his ear and before he can respond I throw some flour in his face and start to run to the back of the kitchen while laughing. "You're so gonna pay for that!" He laughs and starts running after me
I make it to the island in the middle of the kitchen, and then I realize I'm trapped. "Shit" I say as Harry makes it to the other side of the counter waiting for me to go around. "There's no where to go now princess." My heart flutters at the nickname that leaves his lips
"I'm no princess baker boy." I smile and try to make a run for it but he catches me before I can make it to the door. He's trapped me in the corner of the kitchen now, both his hands on either side of my head. "To me you are." He whispers in my ear and throws flour in my face just as I did to him. We both burst out laughing and slide down the wall sitting next to each other.
"Pendejo" I smile shaking my head "what?" Harry asks turning his head to look at me with a confused look on his face "pendejo, it means stupid in Spanish." I laugh as Harrys grin grows wide "Well I guess you're teaching me more than I'm supposed to be teaching you." He chuckles "I guess so" I shrug and rest my head on his shoulder
Harry's POV
Eventually mum came back from the store and saw the mess we made, long story short we had to stay late and clean it all up. It was now 7:30pm the cafe closed an hour ago, but like I said me and Aurora had to stay and clean up the mess. "You know this is all you're fault." Aurora says from the other side of the kitchen "how is this my fault? You threw flour at me first!" I say throwing the rag over my shoulder "you threw flour at me first." Aurora copy's my accent and stands up for where she's finished cleaning "well I'm all done here." "Same here." I say opening the kitchen door for her
"Thank you." She says and walks through the door "your welcome princess." I say following her into the front "I said not to call me that." "No you said you were no princess, you never said not to call you that." I smirk putting my coat on "well I'm not." She smiles and walks out the door and I do the same following her but making sure to lock up the store before turning towards her.
"Are you walking home?" I ask her as she buttons up her coat "yeah but it's no big deal it's only like a 10 minute walk from here" she shrugs "I'll walk you." "No you don't have to do that I'll be fine" she says putting her hands on my chest "I'm not letting a gorgeous girl like you walk the streets of New York at night by herself." I argue "fine. You can walk me home" she rolls her eyes and starts walking down the sidewalk
"You know you don't have to be so grouchy about it." I nudge her slightly with my arm "I'm not, I just don't want to waste your time when you could be at home with your mom." She shrugs "my mom can wait." I say as we turn the corner onto a row of apartments, we stop at one with a red door and the number 16 on the front
I walk her up to her door "well thanks for walking me home curly." She smiles and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear "no problem princess" I smile and we both laugh. We stare at each other for a couple more seconds before she speaks "well uh goodnight I guess." She says and turns to walk inside, but before she does I stop her and turn her to face me our our faces inches apart from each other. she holds her breath waiting for my next move, but I simply kiss her cheek knowing I'd leave her wanting more than that. "Goodnight" I whisper she's silent as she opens her door and goes inside turning to look at me once more before closing her door, leaving me with the stupidest grin on my face the whole walk home.
