Chapter 8 :: Coffee girl

"So you saw him, but you didn't think he recognized you because he was acting nice, but then you found the note?" Alex asks after I told him what happened. We were on break.

I nod.

"Did he say anything else? Give you a dirty look? Anything to say that he was mad?" He questions.

"No, quite opposite actually. He smiled...." I sigh, playing with the coffee Alexs mom made us.

Alex lets out a huff.

"This guy seems bi-polar. Just saying." This causes me to laugh.

"Alex, Emma! Breaks over guys, you have costumers!" Lisa smiles over at us. I finish the rest of my coffee and walk over to Alex, high fiveing him.

"Good luck." He smiles. I say the same back and smile politely at the smaller older lady in front of me, taking her order.

Harry

"Harry, will you be a good boy and run and order the cupcakes for the meeting tonight? It would mean a lot love." Lou smile at me while I hold Lux in my arms. At the moment, she's playing with my curls while smiling wide.

"Um, sure just give me a list and I'll go to this bakery I saw down the way. Looked packed!" I smile at Lux as she pokes my dimple. She giggles when it becomes more prominent.

Lou looks down at us with an amused smile.

"You two.. I swear Styles, you act her age sometimes." Lou says, bent over the table with a pen scribbling a note on paper. I take that as a compliment and smirk down at Lux, who gives me her best smirk back.

"Lux, Uncle Haz has to leave for a little while. Do you want to go play with Uncle Lou and Ni?" I smile down at her, using the nicknames she calls them.

She smiles wide and practically jumps out of my arms, running in the direction of the door.

She stands in front of it pouting since she can't get it open. It is honestly the most adorable thing ever.

"Aww Luxxy." I walk over an pick her up, placing her on my hip as I open the door, walking her over to Lou and Nialls room. I knock on the door.

Louis answers it.

"Surprise!" I smile, bouncing Lux, making her laugh.

"Why hello there angel! To what do we owe the pleasure of your company!" He smiles, taking her from me and raising her high in the air. She giggles frantically.

"I have to run an erron for Lou." I smile, tickling Lux while Louis still has her in the air.

"Is that my little princess I hear?!" I hear Niall yell somewhere in the distance.

He comes from around the corner, acting like a spy to put on a show for her.

It works. She's laughing up a storm as he does little rolls across the floor. One time, he hit his foot on a table ledge, making her laugh more.

I nod at Lou and he crouches down.

"C'mon angel, say goodbye to uncle Haz for right now."He picks her up and sits her on his hip, facing me. I lean down so I'm at her level.

She waves. "Byeeee!" She laughs the cutest giggle in the world. I wave back and make my way down to the shop, making sure to pull my jacket high, put my sunglasses on and adjust my beanie.

The elevator dings and I walk out. I look over to the cafe, looking for I don't know who.
