Mr. Cinder -slow updates-

Chapter 10

I burst through the door, the warmth of the home began to hug me. It made me feel a small sensation of safety and love, but it only lasted for a moment, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!! YOU LEFT ME HERE TO DO ALL THE COOKING AND CLEANING, WE ARE HAVING GUEST OVER AND YOU KNEW THIS, YOU RAN OUT WITHOUT EVEN CONSIDERING HOW MUCH WORK YOU LEFT FOR THE REST OF US!!!" my stepmother yelled the moment she saw me enter the house.

I knew it would happen, but I didn't care. I fell to my knees and whispered, " I'm sorry stepmother, I will re-due everything right away". She was stunned to say the least, i saw a quick look of pity on her face, before she softly said "Good, make sure its done before eleven o'clock." I gave a nod and went on my way to clean the entire home and cook. Hopefully this will distract me for a while.

-One hour later-

As I was finishing up the roast I heard a soft knocking at the door, I let out a small sigh. I went halfway up stairs and let Anna know that there was someone at the door. She ordered me to let them in and show them to the living room in-tell she and the boys were ready. I made my way down the stairs, but not before I heard her tell Tyler and Justin to get their butts ready now. I opened the door and invited the mild-aged couple and their three children inside. "Hello, my stepmother and her boys will be down soon. Please, let me show you to the living room." I spoke in a soft voice, I didn't want much emotion to show, I was still upset. I gave the best smile I could force.

Before I could leave the room I heard the voice of a young girl, "excuse me Mr. But... can you show me the bathroom?" her voice was sweet, filled with happiness you could tell she was a happy girl. I couldn't help but give her a genuine smile. "Of course, follow me." I held out my hand for her to hold, her small soft hands were engulfed in mine, she gave me a smile when she saw this. I led her up the stairs just as my stepmother and stepbrothers were passing. "They are in the living room, this little one needed to the rest room." I gave them a soft smile and continued up the stairs. Once I got her to the bathroom I went to leave, but she grabbed my shirt, "Please wait." her voice held some sadness that didn't seem to fit the cheery girl I had just meet. I knelt down and said, "Don't worry, I wont go anywhere." She gave me a big smile and ran into the bathroom.

It took the little girl about fifteen minutes to use the bathroom, I heard the sink turn on and I heard her singing. I couldn't help but giggle a little..... "So, my sister has taken a liking to you." a deep but soft voice said from the stairs. I jump a little letting out a little squeak. I look and saw that it was the boy that was with the couple... his parents, duh Alex. "She has?" I said in a little voice.

He chuckled a bit, "Sorry, I didnt mean to scare you." he gave me a small smile. "Its fine, I just.. Yeah." my voice squeaked a little, I did an inward face palm. He laughed again, "You know, Alex its awlfuly rude of you not to join your family." I sighed, "Their not my family. She married my dad. He died, my moms dead too, so now I'm stuck here."

The door opened and the girl came out, "Come on Alice, moms been worried." the little girls brother said. I thought it was kinda strange how her mom was worried about her, all did was go to the bathroom. I didn't let it bother me too much, I just let out a small sigh and made my way to the kitchen to finish up the food so my step-family and their guest could eat. I didn't want to eat with them tonight, I had other things I needed to do.

I set the table for dinner and walked into the living and told everyone that the food was ready. Ana of course acting as the gracious step-mother and thanked me for being such a big help and lead everyone to the table. She noticed that there was just enough for everyone but me. "Alex sweaty. Aren't you going to join us for diner?" her voice seemed laced with concern. "No, I have some homework i need to do and then Im going to be making you guys dome desserts." I gave a small smile and walked out of the kitchen and went up to my room.

All I could think about was how horrible I felt. He betrayed and me. And he didn't even seem to realize that in tel i gave a negative reaction. I couldn't seem to forgive myself for leaving him alone there. But then again, why should I try to forgive myself when it's him who should trying to forgive himself for what he did!! All i ever did was give him my love. And it wasn't enough for him!! Says he doesn't want to go to prom cause he doesn't want to be stared at but goes with another guy!! Ugh, i hate love... no this wasn't love this was lust.

A few moments later i heard a knock at my door. I slowly got up and walked over to the door, "who is it?" there was a long pause, "its me." I heard Tyler say. I slowly opened the door and there was Tyler. He was in a clean white button up shirt with a nice pair of black jeans. I couldn't help but blush at how good he really looks, I never noticed it before.... I mentally scolded myself as I realized what I just said, I should know better than to think like that. I just had my heart broken from one person tonight, I couldn't be thinking like that. I made my way to the bed and sat down so I was at least a good distance away from Tyler. He seemed by this, but I couldn't let anyone get to close right now.

It was way to quiet for about five minutes, It seemed as if Tyler didn't know what to say. Which was a first. "Alex, are you okay?" his voice finally broke the air and made jump a little. I gave a small smile and said "Yeah, why wouldn't I be fine." I said it in a way as if I was trying to convince myself of that too. He didn't seem to believe what I said, I didn't blame him either, I didn't sound convincing. He came and sat on the bed and placed a hand on my thigh in a way of comfort. But I didn't feel any, i felt intruded on. I didn't want to be touched by anyone, i wanted to be left alone. I looked at him in a shock as his lips suddenly found themselves on to mine. I suddenly felt he urge to scream and kick him away from me. I started to move away but his hand had a grip on my hair and refused to let me go. His tongue invaded my mouth as he sat there, trying to do... whatever it was he was trying to do. He let his free hand that was on my thigh go up and cup my groin. I couldn't help but let out a low moan escape from my lips. That's when my saving grace knocked on the door..... "Alex... we have finished diner, would you please clear off the table and then make the deserts for us?' Ana asked from the other side of the door. "Yes!" i yelled as I bolted up and headed to the door. I felt better once I stepped out of the musky room.

I cleared off the table rather quickly so I could just start on the desert. I didn't want to be caught alone with Tyler again. I began to finish the desert i had started a while before Ana's guest showed up. It took about another twenty minutes for the deserts to be completely done. I set the table with some of our nice dishes and silverware. I looked at the table with an approving nod and went into the living room to tell everyone that the food was ready. I stopped halfway because I heard Ana talking about my dad, "He was a great man yes, he loved Alex and my boys very much. I didn't know that he was going to..." she trailed off. I heard her sniffle a bit, I almost forgot that he was sick because of her.

I heard someone say, "My brother did have a big heart, he was a kind person. I'm sorry for your loss, and we're sorry for randomly dropping by, but do you think that maybe, Alex should come back with us. To be with his real family?" I heard myself say "Your brother?!?!?"

IM THINKING ABOUT WRITING ONE FROM DANNY'S POV SO IF THAT'S SOMETHING YOU WANT PLEASE TELL ME SO I CAN START TO WORK ON IT.
