Okay, so first I'd just like to thank everyone who's read this story. It's been my baby for the past couple of months. I cried when I finished it because I loved writing it and I'm going to miss it. It's like my baby grew up right before my eyes. Sorry for going all parenty on you there, anyway I do have another story idea that I hope to start here soon. But for now, here's where some of your characters are nowadays.
Lily&Nick.
"Nick you need to get your act together," Lily says as she continues putting the nursery together. Nick is puttiing the crib together, struggling with the screws.
"I'm trying," he says. "I've got caught up on my child support payments with Sadie and I'm hoping to be more involved in this kid's life."
Nick and Lily have since moved into Nick's house. Nick's mom didn't really care due to the fact that she's never there because she's with her boyfriend in Fort Wayne. Lily's parents weren't to keen on letting her go, but they decided to let her learn the hardway.
"I hope so," Lily walks over and kisses Nick on the cheek. Lily is about seven months along now. She found out she was pregnant when she was about two months along. It's now September and she's already pretty huge.
"So when do I have to take you to your shift?" Nick asks. Lily now works down at the Hobby Lobby, the only place who would hire a pregnant high school graduate.
"In about five minutes," she says.
"Well then we better start heading down the stairs because it takes you five minutes down the stairs," Nick smirks. Lily just glares at him and she shuffles out the door with him quickly behind her. He shuts the door as he exits the room.
Josie&Alex.
"Alex, no. I have class in a couple of minutes," Josie says as she pushes Alex off of her for the eighth time this afternoon. They're sharing a dorm room. They're both going to IU and they love it.
"Fine. Later though?" Alex whines.
"Yes," Josie groans. Alex has been thinking of proposing to Josie, but the time has never been right to ask her about where she thinks this relationship. On the other hand, Josie is perfectly happy with her realtionship with Alex and doesn't want anything to change.
Alex kisses her one more time before she grabs her bag and runs out the door so she's not late.
Alley&Weston.
"Good morning, babe," Weston says as he walks out of the bathroom, fresh from a shower. It's 5:45 in the morning, his usual morning wake-up being in the Marines and all. He finished basics a month ago and hasn't been deployed yet, a blessing Alley prays about everyday.
Alley rolls over. "Morning," she grumbles.
Weston walks over to Alley and forcibly opens her eyelids with his fingers. "Wake up, gorgeous."
"Not going to work this morning. Puked all night last night," Alley says as she rolls away from Weston. Alley is about three months pregnant. She suspects she got pregnant on graduation night.
"Gosh, pregnant women are bossy and irritable in the morning," he says sarcastically. She hits him on his arm. To make up for it, he goes down to the end of the bed to rub her feet.
"There you go," she says calmly.
He stops and gets dressed. He kisses her once more although she fell back asleep. He rushes out the door into the cool morning air that Ohio has to offer once he hears the trumpet sounding.
Mollie&Matt.
"Mollie! Have you heard?!" Matt yells as he runs into my dorm room. It's been a couple days since we've seen each other. He's in Muncie and I'm in Richmond so we're only an hour apart. We've grown close again, and we may have made out last time we saw each other, but we're not dating. Once I got back from New Mexico a little more than a month ago, we've started to be pretty close.
"What, Matt? What's so important that you had to drive all the way over here?" I ask tearing myself away from my research paper.
"NSYNC are reuniting at the VMAs!" he squeals.
"No way!!" I get up and run over to hug him.
"Yes way. You, me, this Sunday we're watching the shit out of those VMAs," he says grabbing my shoulders. He notices my face blushing when he starts to rub his hands up and down my shoulders like he used to when we dated. He takes his hands off of my shoulders.
"Well, I uh, better get back," he says embarrassed. To show him it's okay, I kiss him on the lips. He starts to walk out the door and I watch him stumble down the hallway. I didn't know I had that effect on boys. I'm like a dose of alcohol.
