I dug and dug through my clothes hoping to find the perfect outfit for tonight, but I had a dilemma. I have no clue what to wear. I threw on a few outfits and different items for a solid hour. Ah ha. I've found it. I put on my favorite black jeans with holes in the legs and slipped on my black Vans. Oh and if you couldn't tell most of my clothes are black. I wore a sheer white top with, once again, a black tank top underneath.
*ding dong
That must be Andy. I run downstairs to get the door before anyone else does, but Matt beat me to it.
"Is Charlie home?"
"That depends. Who are you?"
"I'm Andy. I live a few doors down. I'm in Charlie's class and I invited her to a party."
"OOOHHH so you're who Charlie's been talking abOWW... What was that about!" At this point I elbowed him in the ribs to get him to shut up.
"Hey so I'm all ready. Where are we going?"
"Hey the party's about a ten minute drive east at my friend Mason's house."
We were in the car for less than a minute and he started acting really weird. He would constantly check his mirrors and look really nervous. It kinda freaked me out but I just sat there. Then he told me to hold on tight and then he just punched the gas. That's when I noticed the black suburban behind us which also accelerated in speed.
"What the hell are you doing!!"
"This dude has been following me for miles and it's scaring me. I didn't know if he would speed up or not when I did but now that he did it's scaring me even more."
"What are we gonna do?"
"I don't know but call the police. Ask for sheriff Carson. That's my dad. Tell him we're on Riverside Drive and we're being chased by a guy in a black suburban."
"Your dad's a cop?!"
"Yes now call him!"
Andy tossed me his phone and I called the station.
"991 what's your emergency?"
"I need sheriff Carson. His son and I are being chased my some dude in a black suburban. We're on Riverside Drive."
"Okay we're sending help."
Then almost as immediately as I hung up, the black car sped up even more and pulled out in front of us. We didn't have time to stop so we swerved into the ditch and flipped the car. My small body went flying around the car and that's when I blacked out.
