"Madison you know I would do anything for you, do you love me back. I need to know, please, not knowing how you feel is killing me. Do you love me?" I couldn't stop myself, I didn't want Ryder to get hurt but I needed him in my life as more than a friend, I loved him so much and I was ready to leave the past as the past and tell him I love him." Ryder I-"
"Ms. Smith and Mr. Anderson, you two are to be sitting down separately, that earned you both detention tomorrow." We both sat down and were quiet the rest of detention. I still wanted to tell Ryder. Once detention was over we got up and walked together and stopped right in front of the door to leave school. Ryder and I just looked at each other, he grabbed my waist and began to lean in. "Ryder."
"Yea?"
" I Lo-" next thing I knew we were kissing, he smiled in the kiss and whispered,"I love you too." My heart was beating fast and I knew this was right, it was perfect. I then felt someone grab my waist and pull me from Ryder. I turned to see David, and he was pissed." What the fuck are you doing with my girlfriend?!" David yelled at Ryder pushing me behind him."Drop the act David, she doesn't love you she loves me." David laughed then looked at Ryder," are you sure she loves you?"
"She told me!"
"Madison do you love Ryder?" David looked at me with a smirk, I knew if I said yes he would call the people to get Ryder. I didn't know what to say, because either way I would lose Ryder. A tear ran down my face and Ryder pushed David aside embracing me in a hug," Madison I love you." I hugged him back until David tore us apart, Madison and I have to go! David grabbed my wrist and started walking out the school." She doesn't fucking like you leave her alone,"Ryder if you know what's best for you and Madison you would just stay away from the both of us!" Ryder took a step towards David but I looked up at him and whispered," it's ok." David and I both hopped in the car and I watched Ryder slowly fade away, he never moved and never took his eyes off of me."Madison, if I catch you with him again I'm going to tell them."
"Why are you doing this, I love him!"
"Why?! All he does is cheat on you, he's probably kissing another girl right now. Do you know how many girls he has fucked since you guys have been broken up?" I just sat there tears running down my face thinking about what David had just said, he knew he was getting to me." Let me tell you Madison, a lot! How many guys have you fucked since the break up?" I just sat there quiet,"how many!" I looked at him crying," none! I know he's a player yet I'm still dumb enough to stick around. That's all I think about David, I don't know why I love him I just do!"
"Madison, I love you and I would never hurt you like Ryder did. You can trust me, I want you to stay away from him because I'm tired of seeing you cry. It's time to let go of him."
