Chapter 11

I left the hospital and went back home with my mother. I went up to my room and tried to sleep but I couldn't. My mom kept bringing me things and babying me which I didn't mind, since usually she was rude to me. She must have noticed something was wrong because she kept pestering me asking what happened between Ryder and I. "Nothing happened," I lied. "Oh come on Madison, I was a teenager once."

"It's just, I'm really stressed out with school and everything. I'll be fine though," I couldn't tell my mom the truth. I don't know why, but something held me back.

The next few days went by pretty much the same. I just laid down the whole day while my mother babied me. Finally it was time for me to go back to school, I actually needed to go back staying with my mom all day was really hard. I know she loves me but sometimes I just need space. My mom offered to drive me but I refused and said I much rather walk, I grabbed a banana and headed out. I left home really early so I wouldn't be late again. Classes officially started at 7:45, and it was only 7:15. I walked into the school and placed my books into my locker. I sat down on the floor just on instagram when I had to go to the bathroom really bad. I hated using the bathrooms at school but no one seemed to be here so I would use it maybe just this once. I stood up and walked to the nearest bathroom. As soon as I walk in I spot Ryder and of course he is with a girl making out with her. I looked at him then at the girl and just gave a small smile and walked out. I couldn't let Ryder think that it affected me when he was with other girls, so I acted as if I didn't care. A tear threatened to come out but I held it back, no more tears over Ryder.

Ryder's P.O.V.

The two days Madison wasn't at school was hell. All I could think about was her and whether or not she was ok. I loved her and I knew somewhere deep down she loved me to, and I was determined to win her back. I blocked everyone out, I wasn't going to hurt Madison again. Even if I couldn't hold and kiss her, and tell her she was mine , I wanted to at least be friends still.

--Two Days Ago--

I was ignoring everyone, I wasn't interested in anyone except Madison. I was walking down the halls to my last class when I seen David. He looked at me and turned to one of his friends," yea so I went over Madison's house yesterday. Damn her lips are soft," I grabbed David's collar and pinned him against the locker. "Don't talk about Madison or Ill kick your ass," David pushed my hands off and smirked. "I'm not talking about her, i'm talking about what we did."

"You two didn't do shit, she hates you."

"You would love that wouldn't you, but since you're out of the picture I decided to take your place."

"You don't know what happened between Madison and I."

"I seen her run out the school crying and that you were the one that hurt her." David started laughing then looked back at me," Ryder you made this so easy for me, I was gonna try to steal her from you but now she is hurt and desperate." David then leaned closer into my ear, " i'm gonna hurt her worse than you did, and you won't be able to do anything but watch." I punched David in the face and pinned him back against the lockers." Touch her and I swear i'll beat your fucking ass!"

" Go ahead, Madison is gonna like me, and when you fight me and she will hate you even more." I stood there just thinking about what he said, he was right." Just give up Ryder, Madison and you are done!"

"You don't even like her!"

"Madison is one of the hottest girls in the school, and I know you will hate it when we are making out in front of you."

"She wouldn't kiss an asshole like you!"

"She already did," David pulled out his phone and had a picture of the two of them making out. I let go of him, I felt like someone punched me in my throat. David walked up to me,"she's mine."

Lets just say the conversation David and I had fucked me up. I should have kicked his ass, but he was right Madison would hate me. I skipped my last class that day, and the next day saw Catherine, a blonde cheerleader, smiling at me. I passed her a note telling her to meet me in the hallway, we made out. The day Madison came back I showed up to school early because I couldn't sleep and decided to just walk here. I seen Jasmine at the school and well yea we started making out and of course Madison walks in, she must have had to go to the bathroom really bad because she hates school bathrooms. I thought she was going to cry and yell at me, but she just smiled and walked out. I knew it wasn't her real smile, the smile that gives even me butterflies. However, she didn't seem affected by what I was doing, maybe David was right.
