"She is awakening," said a female voice.

The woman raised her hands. A green circle of light surrounded the dead body of the student she was attempting to revive. The corpse floats and the body bag disintegrates in the light, revealing a girl who appeared to be in her early teens.

The woman is relieved. The magic has aged the girl. From being a corpse of a ten-year-old to a sleeping body of a thirteen-year-old, the girl stirs. Her black hair grows significantly long up until the small of her back. Her figure stretches a little, indicating an increase in her height.

After three minutes, the girl began to stir even more. Her chest puffed, and she exhaled. Her chest puffed again, and again she exhaled. Her eyelids flutter open, her light blue eyes staring straight into the star-scattered sky. She turns her gaze on her attire—a white over-the-knee dress—and the green light fades.

The woman steadied herself and used her magic to aid the girl in positioning herself upright. She waved her arms smoothly as the girl appeared to stand vertically, her feet planted on the floor soon after the woman was done.

"I am Klara Ludenberg." The woman introduced herself. "I am your sister's science teacher. Do you remember Marina Xeraphina? Your family?"
"I do remember." Replied the girl. "Marina is my sister. Orpheus is my grandfather."
"Very well," Klara said with a relieved sigh. "Do you remember your own name?"

The girl looked at Klara and nodded. "Yes."

"I am... Carla Xeraphina."
