"Come on Katelyn!" I yell.
"But what if she runs away!" she yells back. I hear shuffling from inside her room.
"Cookie is small just put her in the bathroom with her litter box and stuff," I say.
"But I don't like bowling!"
"We aren't bowling were only going to do Laser skirmish!" I say.
She swings the door right open and stands in white sneakers, jeans and a floral yin yan shirt. She has her wavy blue hair out and wears a beaded cat ears headband. Like she's never dressed up for anything. Meh. I guess it's Cookies influence. She widens her eyes and opens her mouth,
"What-" she says eyeing me up and down. I look down and back to her face.
"What?" I say.
"Nevermind," she says, "Just I've never seen you in really short shorts before," I remember, I went shopping for winter clothes yesterday afternoon to get my mind off Cookie (that black and white cat that now lives in Katelyn's room) and bought these really nice high waisted shorts. That end just under my butt. I'm wearing them today paired with my grey Nike's and a grey long-sleeved crop top. I don't know what's with me and long-sleeves but okay...

We just arrived at the laser skirmish place. The guys, Travis, Garroth, Laurance, Aaron and Dante took Dante's car and the girls, Lucinda, Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, Cadenza and I went in my car. Nicole has to go somewhere first so she'll be coming on her own and Vylad is coming with Zane.
We had trouble finding a parking spot because the guys had beaten us here and gotten the last spot so it took a while before we found our way to the entrance. We walk in one by one and immediately there is music, the smell of popcorn and the sound of pins being knocked over down near the alleys. I look to my right and see Aaron with the guys.
"Umm..." starts Garroth, blushing red.
"Aphmau..." says Laurance.
"What?" I say, I snap back to reality and look at my shorts, now I know what they're referring to, "Oh, so you like what you see?" I say smirking.
Garroth faints and lays on the ground. Laurance raises and eyebrow at me and I let out a faint chuckle. I look at Aaron who is laughing his head off and walk over to Dante.
"How long does the session go for?" I ask him,
"About half an hour,"
"Should be fine, afterwards we could go to lunch," I turn and elbow Katelyn and gesture towards Travis. He walks up to her and says,
"So... uh, Katelyn... You have a cat now?" he looks flattered at how amazing she looks. I could definitely ship them together. No. I'm not Kawaii~Chan.
"Yes, Cookie's her name,"
"Oh... Okay, S-so do you want to be on m-my team?"
"Sure, why not," she says winking at me. Ship sailed. I've gotta start working on that shrine.

Speaking of Kawaii~Chan she's with Nicole, Cadenza and Lucinda going on about Reese and her date. I look towards Laurance who is with Dante talking to one of the employees here. I look at Garroth on the floor rubbing his head and shift my eyes to Aaron. He walks up to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"You're shipping them aren't you?" he says.
"Maybe," I say smiling. Dante gestures us towards a door and we follow him in. Inside is a locker room filled with gear and of course, lockers and double doors opposite us.
"Let's go about it this way, couples fight," I say out loud. Just then in walks Vylad and Zane.
"Oooh, Hello," says Vylad.
"Hey Aph," says Zane blushing. I have a new way of thinking. The way of how a guy studies a girl, by studies I mean literally looks at her before going anywhere near her. I think that's what Garroth and Laurance went by, when Garroth 'fainted'. Oh, Garroth. Speaking of him, he's still on the ground out in the lobby.
Lucinda runs out to him and places a spell on him before helping him walk back.
"Oh, hello baby brothers," he says adjusting his blonde hair as he walks in, looking at Vylad and Zane.
Zane mutters something under his breath and Vylad chuckles.
We all chose out our gear and place our handbags and what-not inside the lockers. I picked a magenta vest with a tube thingy attached to a laser gun the size of my arm. Aaron wore a red one and everyone else picked their colours.
The board reads:

That covers everyone... Let the games begin!
Team by team we go into the maze. Starting with Katelyn and Travis going up. We have a gym hall-sized room turned into some sort of maze battlefield, that were about to walk into and play with lasers. Not that amusing but we'll see how it goes.
I look at Aaron, smile, take my plastic gun in my hand and walk through the double doors out into the maze.
