Left. Right. Right. Left. This maze is a mess.
I hold Aaron's hand and follow him through the maze and hopefully a place where I could get a view of everyone in the room. I hear zaps and laughs behind me. Aaron elbows me and points to a ladder. I suppose this could do. I stack crates and make my way up.
I climb, and when I'm a few feet off the ground, he comes after me. He moves faster than I do, and soon his hands find the bars that my feet leave. I stare down at the floor. I wonder where this leads to. I look below and decide this is where I stop. I look over my shoulder to get a better view. I hear a snap and loose balance of my left foot throwing my body weight to the right. I gasp and cling to the rungs, my balance shifting. My gun slips out of my pocket and hangs over the ladder. Aaron's cold hand clamps around one of my hips, one of his fingers finding a strip of bare skin just under my crop top.
"You okay?" he says.
"Yeah, thanks," I say looking over into the maze.
"Let's go there," I say pointing towards a far corner of the hall. Aaron nods and moves back down to the ground. I follow him down and take my gun in hand. I make my way down a curved hallway and into connected rooms. I see a flash of green from the corner of my eye. Vylad. I run behind a wall. I try to switch on my gun but I don't know how this thing works. I loose sight of Aaron.
"Ughh, what do you mean she was here?!" says Zane.
"She was here! I swear!" says Vylad.
"Aph is smart, she wouldn't chicken out," says Garroth. I finally get my gun working and it lights up pink.
I emerge from behind the wall and aim for Vylad. I pull the trigger, hopefully I got him. He turns and faces me but I quickly ran to the opposite wall. I laugh and look at him as he stares into the void of darkness with a blank face.
Zane laughs hysterically and Garroth giggles. I move closer to the light and get a better look.
Vylad finds me in the light and says,
"Revenge," he says, smiling in a playful way. I start to run and disappear inside a narrow tunnel. I step on something. Something glowing. I pick it up, it reads,

2. Aaron and Aphmau -10pts
3. Laurance and Kawaii~Chan -10pts
4. Nicole and Dante -6pts
5. Travis and Katelyn -6pts
6. Cadenza and Lucinda -2pts
I guess it's some sort of tablet scoreboard thingy. I'm not that far off the guys. I don't know how Laurance and Kawaii~Chan managed to get that far up, especially when Kawaii~Chan isn't fond of him. But she has her reasons. Poor Cadenza and Lucinda. Even though I'm not entirely happy with what Dante picked I think it's a good way to spend time with our group. I think it's something for some of us to consider doing more often, that is if the girls don't mind. I spot Aaron zapping at Travlyn. I mean, Travis and Katelyn, and decide to go join him. Well, I can't really get revenge on him for leaving me with Vylad so I'll get him some other way.

Lucinda
Around 20 minutes in... Cadenza and I are paired together and losing, but it's not my fault I was paired up with her. But it's not a bad thing!
I turn to Cadenza and make sure she's following me.
"Do you even know where to go?" she asks me.
"Not really, it is my first time Cadenza!" I scowl at her.
"Okay okay,"
"Geez, I don't even want to play this stupid game,"
"Can't you just teleport out of here?" she says. She has a point.
"And look like an idiot leaving the game?"
"You could take me!"
"Fine, fine but only once we get a good score," I say.
I speed up around a bend. I'm going past things so fast that I forgot about Cadenza. Great. I hate how big this place is. I turn my head and she's not there. I run back to where she was. I stand under an archway and look around. She's left.
I hear a clatter behind me and jerk my head around. Someone runs into me and I loose balance. I fall down on my butt and look up. I can't see anything in this dark.
"Ughh" I wince rubbing my head. I tilt my head towards the light and look at the face before me. It's Garroth.
"Sorry," he says.
"It's okay," I reply.
"No, I didn't mean to," he says stretching out his hand.
"No, Garroth it's okay" I take his hand and he pulls me up, "I'm fine"
"Well then, where's Cadenza?" he says.
"I lost her," I feel my cheeks burning.
"Here, let's go find her," he says, "maybe I won't shoot you then," he smiles.
I elbow him and he wraps his arms around my shoulder. We walk off into the maze in this stupid game.
