Chapter 2

"So Zach, tell me about yourself?" I said as I try not to stare too much at him.

He ran a hand through his hair. "Well, I'm twenty three years old and I graduated from East Harmony." Finally, I got a different answer this time.

"Where do you live?" I cursed silently. Did I actually said that out loud? It's not like I could visit him or anything.

He laughed. Oh, thank God he has great sense of humor. "Is that even relevant?"

I looked down and pretended to go over his resume. "I was just...you know..."

Note to myself, don't say anything stupid in front of hot guys.

I cleared my throat. "So, what do you think this position would be like?" I said, suddenly thankful for the list of questions I memorized in the past six hours.

He shrugged. "I think it will be a really great experience. I'll learn new things I didn't know before. I'll meet new people. And maybe, I'll find my future wife." He winked at me.

I feel the blood gushing in my cheeks.
He winked at... me?

I shook my head. I tried to regain the professional woman I was five minutes ago. "So, which class do you like the most?"

He leaned back on his chair and replied, "Chemistry."

"Chemistry?" I asked, suddenly confused.

"It's because that's where you'll encounter love."

I gave him a questioned look. "I believe there's no such subject in business management."

He grinned at me. "Oh trust me, there is."

Is he flirting with me?!

I tried to cool down my flaming hot cheeks. But sadly, it won't.

"One last question," I said. "Why should I hire you?"

He snorted. "Because I'm charming."

True.

I stood up and held out my hand. "It's nice meeting you, Zach." And this time, I don't need a piece of paper to remember his name.

We shook hands. And I got a feeling it took too long. "I'll call you immediately when you get the job."

"Believe me, I'll be expecting that."

Finally done with the second chapter!! And it just took me two hours to write it!
