Sebastian X Ciel Fanfic

Elizabeth arrives

I tried, this is really hard and sounds kinda stupid but here ya go.

Both Sebastian and Ciel continued the next day as if nothing had happened. Even if they wanted to bring it up they didn't have time, Elizabeth had sent ahead a message she was coming a day earlier and May-rin being as clumsy as she was forgot to pass the message onto Sebastian. The entire household was buzzing with stress and like normal Sebastian was having to correct everyone's mistakes. Before the demon had quite finished he could hear a carriage pull up on the driveway outside. The demon sighed and in the blink of the eye went to grab Ciel, placed him at the top of the stairs and was ready at the door before Elizabeth came bounding inside to hug the, rather confused, earl.

"Ciel I missed you!" Elizabeth cooed. The young master, still quite dazed by the sudden change in scenery, lightly pulled away from the embrace of the young lady. Her eyes begin to glaze over with tears and Ciel invited her back into his arms. Sebastian watched from the bottom of the stairs and felt a strike of pain through his chest as he watched. He clutched his chest and scrunched his nose. Surprised Ciel glanced down to the raven haired man to which Sebastian simply ignored him.

Dinner came around rather quickly and the two teens sat at the table on opposite sides. Although Elizabeth severely got on Ciel's nerves he did like her even going as far to say that he may even love her like family. She was his childhood friend, they played together, she comforted him after the passing of his parents and if truth be told he rather enjoyed catching up with her. Rather disappointed at the seating arrangements, Elizabeth shifted her large chair to right beside Ciel's and gave him a large toothy grin making him chuckle under his breath. The demon butler watched from the corner of the room disgusted by the girl's lack of manners and even more at Ciel's response. Instead of sticking around to watch more of the two he went into the kitchen to get the food he had prepared. May-rin followed him in to help him carry the food, not that he need help.

"They're so cute, aren't they? I could just eat them up, yes I could" she chirped as she walked up the stairs behind Sebastian. Sebastian couldn't hear May-rin he was too busy thinking about Ciel and how he acted around Elizabeth. By the time he reached the dining room the stabbing pain in his chest returned, his face winced as he saw Elizabeth, sat close to Ciel with her hand upon his. He gave a protective growl barely audible and pushed between the two.

"Dinner is served!" he announced "Today we are starting with a potato and leek soup accompanied by some tiger bread, followed by a beef bourguignon and to finish a cider cake," Sebastian bowed and walked to the corner of the room.

"Are you quite alright Sebastian, you look awfully pale, does he not?" Elizabeth glanced over to the earl who was studying Sebastian closely. Sebastian dismissed the worry and continued to wait on them for the remainder of the evening.

Despite having super hearing, Sebastian couldn't quite make out what the two teens were discussing – either that or he didn't want to. Ciel let out a loud laugh in response to something that Elizabeth had said.

"Ok then it's on! We best get some sleep now" Ciel glanced over at his butler signalling to him to end the evening. The tall man led the young lady to her room and gave her a short tour around. He left Elizabeth's room before making his way down to the earl's. Inside Ciel was waiting for his butler.

"I shall be having a bath tonight, Sebastian" he ordered and let his butler begin to run the bath inside his ensuite.

The bath swashed and splashed in the next room as Sebastian came through to Ciel only to notice that the young master had already made a start and was standing there half naked! The boy strolled past his butler into the bathroom and beckoned to Sebastian to continue undressing him. Obediently, the demon followed and tidied his remaining clothes into a pile. The bath had finished and slowly Ciel climbed inside the tub.

"Wash my hair" Ciel ordered before relaxing his head back and trusting it to Sebastian, after the man had finished rubbing oil into the boy's hair, he began to rinse when he noticed small bruises over the boy's shoulder. He growled and pulled Ciel to look at him,

"What the hell are these?" Sebastian said nearly shouting as he pointed to the patches of purple and yellow.

"They are nothing I just fell over earlier!" Ciel stuttered blushing at how close Sebastian's face was. The demon's scent was sickly sweet, overpowering Ciel's senses, his breath was warm on his face.

"I swear if you are lying to me and someone harmed you I don't know what I might do..." His voice trailed off and he tugged the shocked boy into an embrace. The boy wasn't sure what to do and sat half in, half out of the water his heart beating faster than it had ever beat before. The older man pulled away leaving the earl breathless in the bath almost on the verge of tears. Other than Elizabeth it was the first hug he had received from someone since his parents died. His butler grabbed a towel and rapped the boy inside before carrying him into the bedroom holding him close like a treasured possession. The demon trailed the towel over the shaking mess, making sure to be careful around the bruises and carefully dressed the boy in his shirt. Still holding him close he tucked the wreck into his sheets watching him break down inside.

"S..se.. bastian.. please.. umm .. please don't-"

"Don't worry young lord I'm right here" Sebastian interrupted kneeling down at the corner of the bed. He removed his glove and brushed his long fingers through the silky blue locks watching the warm mass slowly calm down. After only a matter of seconds Ciel drifted off to sleep. Still Sebastian continued to watch the boy sleep, chest lifting and falling so peacefully, all his worries evacuating his face leaving only peace and content. With a deep breath he moved forward brushing his lips against his young master's forehead and departed the room.
