Chapter 12

Niel's POV

"Oh my God Niel! You should've seen how she clinged to him. She's like, I don't know. Para siyang linta. Ugh!"

"Really Elle? Linta?" grabe na si Elle eh. "Akala ko ba okay lang sayo si Shannon? You said that right? You told me you don't have any problems with her?"

Nung nasa arcade kasi kami the other day, medyo nakipag-hangout kami with Ken and Shannon. There, we found out na kaya pala bestfriend DAW ni Shannon si Ken is because when Elle left for U.S, sila yung laging magkasama.

Sandali lang naman kami nakapagkwentuhan. Nagpaalam na din kasi si Ken na mauuna na daw sila ni Shannon kasi doon daw sila magdidinner kina Ken. Never pa daw kasing nameet ni Tita Annie(Ken's mom) si Shannon. Weird right? Laging magkasama pero never nakilala. Mahiyain daw kasi si Shannon pero parang hindi naman. Dami nga niyang kinwento samin ni Elle eh. So ayun nga. Ken asked Elle if she wanted to join, but she said no. Baka daw kasi makaistorbo siya eh.

Hayyyy. Elle talaga -_-

Pagkaalis nila noon, I immediately asked Elle kung okay lang siya. Tahimik kasi niya eh. Tandang tanda ko pa ang sinabi niya when I asked her.

"Yea, I'm fine. Ano kaba? Well, Shannon... She seems nice."

Tas ngayon linta? Anyare sa 'Shannon-seems-nice' niya? =____=

"Eh~ wala nga"

"Wala naman pal- Teka nga! You said no when Ken asked you. Then how'd you know na grabe siya magcling kay Ken?" tsk. This girl. She did something. I just know that. Hayyyy. Elle.

"Uhm. Err" she said. I knew it. She really did something.

"What? Did Ken pick you up?"

Amielle's POV

Oh no.

I am so dead! I sneaked out last night and Niel doesn't like it. Simply because I told him about the last time I did that and I got chased by a dog. Eh kasi naman. I wasn't really planning to do that kaso nacurious talaga ako if Ken is happier when he's with her than me.

Okay. Forget I said that. I sound like a jealous girlfr-

Im not. Gawd. That's just wrong. I can't be jealous right? And definitely not his girlfriend.

"Elle!" he snapped his finger at me. "Elle. Masama ba pakiramdam mo? You wanna go to the clinic?"

"Ah. No. No. I'm fine" I gave him a smile. Thank God he forgot about his question.

*Fast Forward*

Uwian na agad. Ang bilis lang natapos nitong araw. I saw Ken heading to the gates.

"Ken!" I tried my best na mahabol siya kahit naka killer heels ako.

I guess I was late. Huh. Funny, maybe I would've been faster if I took of my heels?

Yan na lang ang naisip ko. Natigilan na din ako sa pagtakbo, hindi naman ito ang first time na hinabol ko si Ken pero, eto ang first time na hindi niya ko nilingon kahit alam ko naman na narinig niya ko.

Hindi niya ko nilingon because she was there. Shan was there, holding her hand out for Ken to reach.

And yes. He gladly took her hand and they walked together, like he didn't hear me calling.

For the first time, I felt my heart squeeze a little at the thought of Ken, holding another girl's hand.

Someone's POV

"Ken!" I saw her calling someone, I guess it's the guy walking to the gates?

He stopped. Oh? So he was the bestfriend.

He started walking like nothing happened. Our eyes met while he was walking and there, I saw it. He tried his best to hide the fact that he is...... hurt?

Why would he be hurt? I mean, didn't he just go out of this place with another girl and they were even holding hands.

Haaaaa. I need to set that thought aside. My focus should be on her, Amielle.

She's still there, dumbstruck. I just wanna go there and tell her not to be sad bacause I am here for her. Damn! I need to stop myself from running to her and just.... hug her.

Too much thinking..

I looked at where she was, she's still there, not crying but being hugged by someone. Dale.

Just wait and see. Amielle, I won't do anything stupid but I swear. Once I see you hurt and crying because of those two bastards, I will kill the fucking hell out of them.
