Chapter 12 // Hanging Out

Lauren's POV

I parked outside the place Camila told me it was already some what late around 7:00 pm. I texted her that was here and soon she came out with Normani. I unlocked the door and they got in.

"Hey Camz, hey Normani."

"Hey Lo." Camila says and she leans in and hugs me and then sits back to put her seat belt on.

"How are you Lauren?" Normani says as she smirks at what Camila just did.

"Pretty good, I just got done recording a new song."

"What is it about?" Camila asks turning her attention to me.

"Things." I wink and start the car driving to my house.

As I suspected Dinah was already home. I parked behind her and we got out. Camila had a bag with her photo shoot clothes and her purse so I grabbed both to help her out.

"Thanks nice lady."

I chuckled and unlocked the door Normani entered and then Camila entered.

"Honey I'm home." I say as I enter the house. Both Camila and Normani look at me.

"Hello sweetie how was wo- oh hey Mila, hey Mani."

They greeted eachother as I set Camila's things in the living room.

"I'm going to go shower cause having Camila so close to me made me really nervous... and even more gay..." They laughed and Camila had a small blush.

"Yeah you go do that Lauren." Dinah responds with a small chuckle.

"Camila, if you want to take a shower in the other room you can there are towels in the bathroom." I say as I direct my attention to Camila.

"That'd be great considering that the shoot was stressful. Do you have any clothes that I can borrow?"

"Yeah I'll take them to you right now." She walked up the stairs walking to bathroom in the middle of the hall.

I put a pair of shorts and joggers and shirt, a red bra and some new boxers that I had just bought.

I knocked on the door. "Camila, the clothes are outside the door."

I heard a mumble from the shower that sounded like an ok. I headed to my room and I got in the shower.

When I was done I changed into black Calvin Klein boxers, a black sports bra, Nike shorts, socks and a long sleeve.

I dried my hair with a towel, grabbed my phone from my night stand and went out the door. Camila was already out since the door was open but when I went downstairs no one was there then I heard them in the movie room.

I walked in and sat next to Camila who was in the big seat.

"What are yall watching?" I asked.

"We don't know yet we were waiting for you." Dinah answered.

"Aw that's nice yall waited for me?"

"No not really just that the room with all the movies is locked for some unknown reason and I couldn't find the key."

"Damn good to know. But anyways I have no idea why it is locked. It was probably Lucy, when she came over two weeks ago. That's the last time it was used."

"I have two questions. Why do you lock them? And two who the hell is Lucy?" I was taken back by her second question, but it was kinda cute how she sounded kinda jealous.

"Because they are my babies I look it when I go away for a long time, and Lucy is my best friend."

She nodded and I opened the closet with all the movies.

Dinah and Normani headed to it once it was open and I sat next to Camila again waiting for them to pick one.

"We're going to go with Sinister. Camila I know how you get with scary so suck it up." Normani says as they try to put the movie in.

"You're a bully you know I hate scary movies."

"Lauren grab your future lady." Dinah says finally sitting down and grabbing the remote from the table"

The movie started and we are near the end of the movie and Camila managed to end up on my lap grabbing on to my shirt and hand.

"Are you ok?" I whisper.

She nodded slightly but you could tell she was scared. When the movie ended Camila looked paranoid.

"Ok time to sleep let's go guys." Dinah says as she checks the time and it's already 12:00 am. Kinda weird how time went by fast.

We got up and I headed to the kitchen to put the bowl of popcorn and drink on the table. Normani and Dinah headed upstairs except for Camila who was there sitting in the stool by the table.

"Do want anything before we go to bed? If not you can head up I'm almost done." I say as I set things in the trash. She didn't say anything she just got up and headed up stairs without saying good night.

About 10 minutes later I headed to my room. I put my phone in the charger, went to the restroom to brush my teeth and well pee. I took my shorts, shirt and socks off leaving me with my sports bra and boxers. I turn off the light and lay down. As I reach to grab a pillow I feel a body I freak out so I get up and turn on the light.

"Camila! What are you doing in here?" I yell as she squint her eyes.

"I didn't want to go to the other room because I was scared so I came here when you told me that I could head upstairs. If you want me to leave I can."

"No its fine you can stay but you should've told me though."

"Sorry."

I turn the light back off and lay down next to Camila. She was facing the other way and I could tell she was still a wake because she was scared. I pulled her close to me as I put my arm around her. She got tense for a bit but then relaxed moments later she muttered a soft goodnight and fell asleep.

"Goodnight Camz." I say as I kiss her head and drift off to sleep with a smile since I had her in my arms.
