I woke up from my nap to check the clock and it was 6:00 I slept a good amount of time. I turned to my other side, and Lauren wasn't there only a note. I grabbed it, and read it.
'You probably woke up wondering where I went off to. I went home to get ready. I tried to stay there until you woke up, but you weren't waking up anytime soon so I let you relax a bit longer. I'll pick you up at 8:00. Hopefully you wake up by then. I'll see you in a few.

I smiled at the note and got out of bed. Winter in New York can be stressful, I have to layer myself up since it is cold outside. Not necessarily snowing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. It is December after all. I decided to text Lauren to let her know that I woke up.
Camila: i just woke up, thank you for the note. although i would of much rather woken up next to you instead of a piece of paper, but it's ok.
Jauregui 💚: I was going to stay, but if I did I would have been to lazy to get up, and actually go on our date.
Jauregui 💚: Maybe after we go out we can go to my house, and you can sleep with me. Since we have nothing to do tomorrow we can stay in all day.
Camila: i am so down for that. LAZY DAY WITH MY GIRLFRIEND.

Camila: still you if you keep using that emoji. i'll let you go so i can get ready.
I went to my closet, and grabbed my clothes. I put them to the side, and went to take a long needed shower.

I was about to check the time after I was ready but the door bell rang. I rushed to the door and opened it to see Lauren with a beautiful, breathtaking smile and holding a rose.
"Hey babe. This is for you." She said handing me the rose.
I smiled, and leaned for a kiss. "Thank you baby."
"Are you ready or do you need more time?"
"I'm ready."
We get in her car and we start driving to a restaurant that Lauren chose after a while argument of who should chose.
Once we arrived they got us a table, and handed us a menu.
"I'll have red wine and water." Lauren tells the waitress that was staring at my girlfriend with heart eyes.
"I'll have the same thing."
"Excuse me?" The waitress asks obviously not listening the first time I told her.
"I said I'll have the same thing." I glared at her.
She walked away and Lauren is laughing.
"You're so cute when you're jealous, but their is no need because the way she looked at me is the way I look at you everyday and the way I plan to look at you forever." Lauren says reaching for my hand over the table.
"That means a lot, thank you."
After the waitress brought our drinks, and later on the food. We had the very much dreaded conversation.
"So I leave for tour soon."
"I know..." I don't know what I can possible say. I'm proud, but it's kinda sad.
"I don't want you to be unhappy, but it's my job. I plan my best to talk to you everyday, and remind you of how much you mean to me no matter the distance." She reassures.
"I'm proud of you I truly am. It is just the fact you won't be here for a while."
"I know, but we know this was coming sooner or later."
"When do you leave?"
"Tour starts March 6, but I probably have to leave for interviews and all that. So maybe the 4th? I'll have to ask Alex."
"A day after my birthday." I asked.
"I know and it sucks, but at least I'll be here for your special day.."
"No it's ok, I understand is your job. We can always celebrate another time. Now let's leave that aside and tell me the fun stuff, where is your first concert and who are your opening acts?"
"I'm still sorry... but I'll start at Denver and my opening acts are Marian Hill and Maggie Lindemann."
"That should be fun, but I'm warning you Jauregui no funny business if you do I'll fight you and everyone else."
"I would never." She says laughing, but with a reassuring smile.
We headed home minutes after. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that she is leave during March, and although I'm happy for her success I'll be pretty bummed that she won't be here.
Lauren parked in front of my house. She got out of the car and opened my door. Once we were in front of my door she kissed me, and gave me long warming hug.
"I know you'll stress about me leaving soon, but let's enjoy these next few days."
"Ok baby. I'll see you soon." I leaned in and kissed her, a long kiss that was probably going to lead to something else, but I stopped it.
"One we are outside and two I'm not ready." I say.
"I understand, and it's ok I'll wait."
After she left I went inside and changed to my sleeping clothes. I went on twitter and checked my feed.
