Something crashed into the castle, and it looked like darkness.
Shallow: Everyone run! Get out of here now!
They all ran out of the castle, and meet up outside. The darkness all came together in the air, and turned into a dark pony.
Shallow: Henry, come here for a second.
Henry walked up to Shallow, and Shallow cast a spell on him.
Henry: What did you just do? Wait a minute, I can talk?!
Shallow: Yeah, so now, we don't have to guess what your saying.
Henry: Wow, thanks Shallow.
Everyone stood there in ah, but then, they quickly turned back to the dark pony. He was red, with a black horn.
Celestia: He looks just like...
Luna: Sombra.
Twilight: Sombra, but didn't Cadence and Spike defeat him back at the crystal empire.
Shallow: Yes, he was, so that's not Sombra.
Henry: Then who is he?
Draco: Let's ask him.
Chrysalis: Everypony, listen to me. I'm gonna fight him myself.
Shallow: No way, we need to fight it together.
Twilight: Really?
Shallow: Yeah, because somepony taught me, that I don't always have to everything on my own.
Twilight smiled, and they all got ready to fight.
?: Shallow, thank you for freeing me from the time rift.
Shallow: Who are you?
?: My name is Ace, and all of Equestria will be destroyed.
Shallow: Alright everyone, back me up. Ah!
They flew towards Ace, but all of there attacks went right through him.
Twilight: We can't hit him.
Celestia: We need the crystal heart.
Luna: But it's back at the crystal empire
Shallow: Wait a minute, that's it. Everypony, listen up, need to lead it to the crystal empire!
Draco: And just how are we gonna do that?
Henry: Yeah, that's impossible.
Shallow: I've got a plan.
Shallow flew up into the air in front of Ace.
Shallow: Hey Ace, how about a race, unless of course you too slow.
Henry: Oh, I get it. He's trying to lead Ace to the crystal empire.
Ace: I'm much faster than you.
Shallow: Then prove it, race me to the crystal empire.
Ace: Your on.
Shallow: Ready, set, go!
Shallow and Ace sped off to the crystal empire, and everyone else followed behind them
Shallow: Almost, there.
Ace: I won't let you beat me.
Shallow: We'll just see about that.
They made it to the crystal empire, and everyone stopped.
Shallow: I guess it's a tie.
Ace: So it seems, I know how to break the tie.
